I am not really good at data mining.  Let me try to dig out some:

1.  City U - The harshest faculty goes to the school of Energy and environment (33).  What is it? Even harder than LLB (30)?

2. Poly U -  Ave. points for BEng Civil is 16 and Ave. Points for HD Civil is 16.3?? It's unreasonable although I note that the BEng should count 4 core + 1 elective and HD count Chi + Eng + 3 subjects.  Which means HD candidates are poor in either Maths or Liberal Study.

3. You know my son aims only at Econ.  I compare the big 3.  HKU  - 33~24; CU - 27~24; UST - 24.  If we are lucky to have offers from both these big 3 Econ, say, IB 34~36, which one will you select to make deposit?

Poly is tricky, 5** count as 6 instead of 7.... so scale down of the scores.

UST should be conditional offer 34 for BBA (Economics) option. Two Economics professors from LSE will join HKUST in 2013, they are couple and the lady was HKUST BBA graduate and her husband is the Nobel Price winner in 2010(?). > HKU > CUHK.
