My kid is studing HKBUK K1 now, english for him is not a big problem.
For my point of view, kids learn english not only in school, but also in the family. In other words, 50% in school education and 50% in family education.

few years ago, my fd's daughter studied there and she just learnt to write A-Z when she was P1....so quite hard to catch up but the school teach a lot on social skills which made her a polite and a caring girl...

The project approach used by this school aims to foster students' ability to develop interest in learning, to learn to think about what the problems are, to find ways to solve them etc etc. But this kind of learning needs a lot of skills and patience by teachers. Do u think this approach works well?

你的小朋友是否現在就讀HKBUK呀？我知道浸幼的理念及學習模式似國際學校！但現實地説，語文(由其是英文)點會不重要呢？好似上面一個會員說有小朋友小一只識A~Z.....是否個別事件呢？我只是有少少擔心自己的囝囝將來英文底子不好！如果浸幼的英文課程不是出面說的這麼淺，我真的會想小兒讀浸幼呢！可否提供多些資料給我參考呀？謝謝！

We have no extra course for my kid to study english outside of school, but perfer on next year.
As I know, the full day class of HKBUK, half day is Chinese teaching, and the half day class is English teaching (Net teachers). The school fee for full day class is HK$ 7500, it is very expensive, haaaaa. Please check the weebsite for HKBUK for more details.

浸幼係一間好好的幼稚園
全校的老師同ee 係一家人好愛小朋友
小朋友好愛返學
k1 都有 presentation (簡單)

語文方面冇係外面再上堂
深定淺真係好難講
我覺得都係合兒童的發展

eng : 教緊 colours, animals, body, numbers, long and short, big and small

仔仔已識 a-z (未返k已識)
學校學的有 : red, yellow, blue, white, black, green
panda, lion, tiger, monkey, elephant, cat, dog .....
head and shoulder, knee and toes, eyes, nose.....
long and short
big and small

most of the english learning thro reading story
teach by native teacher

and my son is very confident and open mind during this three months in K1
half day class
