Hi! My BB just got an offer from Funful (Prince Edward). It seems that not many parents talk about this kindergarten here.

Will your BB study in Funful or have other offer(s)?

My 13m daughter is attending their playgroup three times a week now. The teachers are very nice and caring. My daughter loves attending the class very much. Though it is 1.5 hours, we dont find it long and we enjoy until the last minute as there are quite a no. of actiivities including 15 mins English and 15 mins Chinese story time. I think the most important thing is, the activiities are suitable for a 1 yr old kid. My daughter has joined some other playgroups before but she was less patient there as the activities are for older kids and the groups are larger.

Also, I find that the school is not so high profile and more child-oriented. I am particularly happy about their interview arrangement as only one kid each time and the teacher talked with us for over 30 mins. She didnt ask my kid to do some impossible tasks but simply wanted to know more about her personal development and bring up. It is really a good school, the only down sides perhaps are inconvenient location and non-NET teachers to teach English (To my understanding, there will be 20 mins english taught by english-speaking teacher everyday, whom is not NET. Pls correct me if I am wrong).

One more observation: some say that the decoration of Funful is out-dated and old. Yet as far as I can see from the playgroup which occupies almost the whole floor and arranges kids to switch classrooms during chinese and english lessons, the place is clean and tidy with beautiful decorations for the right age. I dont find it old fashioned at all (or I am an old-fashioned guy?).

My daughter is Nov small B. Just started school for half a month. The teachers there are nice and always willing to update us about our daughter's performance in class. My daughter loves to go to Funful, and she talks and sings a lot more after attending school.

They only teach basic a-z and basic Chinese characters, but I think it's good enough for children to familiarize themselves with school life. Hope this helps.
