想知道吓有邊啲 local kinder, 有local 課程（即係絕對吾會忽略中文和數學），但英文又可以教到小朋友好好，可以fluent 地用英文溝通到?

大家可否介紹一下，作為參考？

一時之間想起呢幾間：維記、St Cat、York...其實而家好多kinder的小朋友英文都好好，尤其係屋企會操果d。中文和數學，就好睇屋企和小朋友興趣，個別差異會大d。

其實我知道維記應該得，但其它如SC, York 就吾係咁肯定。因為我想佢地fluent 的程度係可以完全應付到國際學校的interview，及比起讀緊international kinder 的小朋友都吾弱。

我出年想幫囝囝報國際學校(primary) ，但現在太多人爭，就算有得in, 學校都會挑選。我開始着緊了。

都係最近一、兩年的事，一個係而家讀緊P2，一個吾記得P2定P3。

主要係屋企都會同佢講，媽媽只講英文，daddy只講廣東話，又或者講明每日3-5點只講英文，比佢足夠語境練習。

90% of the kids Whom i knew studying in vic do not speak fluent English. If you want your kid to be conversant in English, speak more English to your kid at home. My girl is extremely good in English, she studied in York sister school and now in sc. she only spoke English before she was 3.5 year until 3 mths ago she started to speak Cantonese.

I have the opposite problem. My daughter won't speak Chinese at all. My husband and I speak English to each other, daddy speaks English and turns on CBeebies for her to watch. She has even learnt all the colours of the rainbow at 2.5 years but still, no Chinese.

That is the main reason why I put my foot down and told the husband I won't have her in ESF or International schools.

So, back to the drawing board...now, we have come to a consensus after consulting friends in the education industry. It's local mainstream for her.

I brought my girl to abc pathways English trial class just for fun, I think it is good for kids who are not too good in English.
Also recommend kids gallery and Faust drama classes, classes are conducted by native English speakers.

Actually, not all International Schools have high standards.

One child I know who is studying in an international school did badly in her English entrance exams because her present school's standard is too low. She has no problems with her spoken English though.

After some private tuition, she breezed through her second entrance exams.
