Seems like RCHK is less popular this year (almost 1,000 applicants last year). Probably due to their very average
IB results. My friend's 2 kids go to RC and say discipline is getting worse and schools primary section is not doing good enough. Any comments?

By the way, RCHK does not use Cat 1 or Cat 2 system. How do you know Cat 1 has 60 and siblings places?
Just a guess?

In fact, they have not use Cat 1 and Cat 2.
they interview process :

1. Children of full time RCHK teachers (including management position); and full time RCHK supporting staff (including EAs) with a minimum one-year employment at the time of application.

2. Siblings of students currently attending RCHK.

3. Children who are Nominees under the Nomination Rights Scheme for all year groups. Within this category, nominees are ranked in order of receipt of their Nomination Rights Application Form. Please see the "Nomination Rights” section for details.

4. Children of full time ESF/Discovery College teachers.

5. Children currently attending ESF Educational Services Ltd. Kindergartens and applying for Year One. Applicants must have attended a minimum of TWO continuous terms prior to interview date.

6. Former RCHK students returning from a period overseas.

7. Children of RCHK alumni.

8. Other applicants.

Cat 1 and Cat 2 is according to their statistic
