今日參加了York家長會，但最想知的關於國際班與雙語班的資料依舊所得不多！
究竟大家有無資料可以補充下？而是否所有家長都會選擇國際班呢？

國際班有NET做班主任。另加本地老師一名
國際班普通話時間多中英班半小時
國際班學費貴過中英班幾百蚊
校長話國際班和中英班的差距很少。中英班在加料中，未來可能會睇齊。

國際班普通話係日日都有25min，中英班一周有2堂普通話（如果我無記錯）。另外，出年國際班比中英班貴600蚊/月。我諗鐘意國際班的會多少少
聽D媽咪講國際班上午有4班，下午得2班，比中英班數量少，因中英班上下午加埋一起得十幾個班。
但真係不知明年班級數量

其實小女早在入PN前已經有國際班am offer，唔知為何最近又要填寫意願選擇那一班，還稱入國際班要跟評審，不一定有國際班位置？
有無其他家長都有以上情況呢？

我仔仔而家讀緊國際班K1, 回家經常唱英文 / 國語歌, 用英文同姐姐溝通又講得有文有路, 又懂說簡單普通話句子及打招呼, 我覺得呢600蚊抵比.

我有打去York問過主流同國際班的分別:
國際班
班主任－1 NET+1 Local +1助教
英文－每日有，由NET教
中文 －每日有，用廣東話教
數學－屬單元課程，不是每日有，用英文教
普通話－每日有，由國語老師教
主流班
班主任－2 Local +1助教
英文－每日有，由NET教
中文 －每日有，用廣東話教
數學－屬單元課程，不是每日有，用英文教
普通話－每星期一（定二）堂，由國語老師教
另兩者用的書本係一樣的。國際班班數少Ｄ，每月貴幾百。因為接電話的姐姐好似幾忙咁，所以就無再詳細問。請問我的理解有無錯呢，請各位媽媽指教一下。謝謝。

請問入主流班的家長，孩子interview是用中文定英文in的？因為我仔仔考國際班(入咗)，是外藉老師 in的。如果兩班分別不大，而如果主流班用中文in, 那當然用孩子較強的語言interview.

我都有問York接電話姐姐呢個問題, 佢話佢地著重兩文三語, 所以國際班中文堂係用廣東話教, 仲話佢地係國際班, 唔係國際學校, 所以都有廣東話喎。

pm 4班︰Red, Yellow, Green, Blue
主流班上下午加埋大約11班。

York started their PN class last year and promised all students can be promoted to international class. That's why there are so many N1 clasd this year. These international clasd included 2 head start class for the super small B. These head start classes are different to the normal class. To my understanding, these classes are using textbooks for PN and have no homework at this stage. My son had homework everyday. In these class you can have the option to promote directly to K2 or repeat N1, deoending on the performance of the kid in ckass. Of course, most importantly, whether promote or not also base on the will of the parents la.

即係國際班與主流班平分秋色？每部都有15、6班，好強大wor。
如果每班25人計算，則每年級可接收七八百人？難怪會有人認為收生易，因學額本身就多喇

All PN can be promoted to N1 (K1), but no longer guarantee to be promoted to International classes.
Some parents is worried that the kid may get confused with both Cantonese and Mandarin in class. As for my son, he is learning quite well in Mandain classes. He has been showing me that he has great interest in learning this new language in York. He keeps asking me what is the Mandarin of things that he came across. I was quite surprised when he asked me what s the Mandarin of Taxi. I told him 計程車, and he told me it is 出租車﹗

請問國際班有講粵語教中文的時間嗎？小朋友會在三小時內禁止講粵語而只可用英語及pth溝通嗎？

Local班主任係講廣東話的。
K1的小朋友咁細，我相信好難唔俾佢地講其他語言的。

國際班日日都有普通話，本地好似係一星期兩至三堂。
有中文課。

始終NET在我來講是我選擇York的主要原因之一！

Sorry I get confused. Am I right that -
1. All PN will be promoted to N1(K1) international class, and then K2 and K3 direct either in international or bilingual class;
2. international class only Eng + Mandarin, while bilingual class eng + cantonese + mandarin
3. cost difference between international and bilingual class is only $6xx
Actually bilingual class has 3 languages. Isn't it more attractive?

All PN promote to K1, but not 100% international.
International class have Mandarin everyday. Local teacher use Cantonese.
Local class (bilingual) have Mandarin class two/three class per week.

Given Intl PN 2012/13 =12 classes. 2013/14 Local and Intl N1 am pm = approx. 26 classes. And if most PN promote to N1, does it mean there will be approx 400-450 seats available for all K1 interviews? i.e. Approx. 1/8 - 1/10 chance in every kid entering K1. Correct me if I am wrong. So, are there actually many rejects out there?

The % is hard to calculate. I am sure quite a number of kids will leave after PN. No one know how many parents give up York's offer.
