有無人wkf 同pk 都有offer 而家仲未揀得定，大家研究下
又或上年嘅你面對同一問題，最後你地揀左邊間，分享下啦，可以嗎，我同老婆頭都大埋呀，希望大家指點指點

PK is more focus on Chinese and HW load is way more than WKF.

As you should know since Mr Wan, the new principal onboard, PK is no longer with the less homewrok environment but quite pushy in academic.

WKF is using dynamic approach on language teaching especially on English where they do not do dictation or formal homework. WKF focus the kids' learning in ready comprehension and writing skills. Through thisprocess, kids could build up the gramma and usage.

For Chinese, WKF only have dictation once a month and split the class into smaller group for different focus on building the Chinese according to the ability of the kids.

Other subject are more or less the same. However, WKF gives a better English environment.

小女舊年都係兩間都收。每間學校都有優勝的地方，我選擇wkf是因為唔想功課太多，加上比較喜歡wkf既校舍!

我想先補充一句，我舊年好快已經決定讓小女入讀WKF，所以一早已經放番位出嚟；希望大家都推己及人，揀選好後，就主動讓番啲位出嚟。
初初開學時，都覺得學校啲行政有啲混亂，對小一新生的家長亦未有充份解釋好學校時間表的日常運作。不過，學校一早安排了開學一星期後有家長會，有疑問可以當面和班主任傾；班主任亦有留手電給家長，有任何問題均可隨時聯絡。
學習上，比較着重思考，最令我驚喜的是英文科，Term 1已經教咗用6W寫作，看到女兒在課堂上的作文，真的令我對學校非常有信心。
小女亦非常喜歡上學，之前term break 放兩日假，佢反而表現得很掛住學校的老師!

有朋友在wkf中學教，說wkf小學辦得很好，投放了很多資源在學生身上，因雙班主任制，學生的英文oral 和 listening 都很好,相對writing就沒那麼出色。但wkf 中學因較新，暫時就屬一般，有待觀察。

Parents learning is not compulsary but provide a lot of seminar to let Parents understand how to treat their kids in some points and be a mordern parents.

If working parents do not have the time, school will not count on it.

Chinese is teach in Mandarin... of course not as strong as PK or traditional school, but students are split into small group according to their capability. Parents need to give extra training on Chinese at home if you think it is not enough in school, but of coirse not other subjects.

Misc fee only 1,000 a year and if attending some OLE after school, is on your own expenses. Any OLE during school hours, they are free.

有時間去睇下兩間學校返學放學食LUNCH嘅情況....睇下佢地返學、接放學嘅情況.........睇下自己鐘意邊類型嘅學校同學生..........睇實況好過聽人講................人人小朋友嘅情況都唔同.............兩間都係可以讀十二年..........抽D時間親身感受下.......

其實兩間學校都各有各好，但既然有得比我地家長去選擇，當然係揀一間較為合適自己嘅小朋友
先講點解決定揀WKF 先
1.講真揀得直資都係唔想自己嘅子女再做填鴨，要讀得開心
2.英語學習環境
3.WKF 嘅 problem base learning 我幾buy, 我希望小朋友懂得多思考
4.WKF 嘅交流團比較 world wide 一點
5.如果12年後考慮外國留學，WKF 會較為合適
6.交通較為方便，若果日後小朋大個咗自己搭車都方便d

重有我問過小女佢自己話鍾意WKF多D.....(雖然呢樣唔係主要因數, 但都叫順水人情啦)

以上種種原因只係小弟之個人意見,同小弟對WKF 之個人觀感. 本人並無貶低其他學校,只是本人覺得WKF 較適合小女, 而我亦覺得PK亦是一間好學校......! 希望不要因小弟之意見而惹來不必要之惡意言論

其實WKF 同 PK 我相信每一年都會有人問同比較.........

到底你喜歡 Alan or Lesile .......just u can know

我真的未選定！我一家無龍但近屋企，WKF有龍但遠！有龍當然好，但呀仔讀開傳統谷的幼稚園，我驚我同個仔都唔慣learning via activity and self exploration

I chosen PKC myself last year because I like its Chinese background, good putonghua and English with Cantonese as well which I think is a very good language environment for my child. For homework, I think PKC is not much. From the previous comment of wkf, I think it is relatively the same as the time needed to do hw is about the same for my son.  Both chinese and english curriculum are good and teaches phonics and focus on reading and writing. They have performance art lessons for chi and eng which give them a chance to perform besides the normal curriculum.

Moreover, I think it is more secure to study there as PKC has already got two years of "not bad" results for the public exams.  I am quite certain that the result will go up as the student intake is upgrading, the principle is good at promoting student's grade and from the school report, i know he is doing a lot to help the students with various academic  level, not only the top tier but also the one who needs to catch up.  I am not sure whether my son would be the top tier or not at this moment, I am happy to know that they will help student to catch up just in case he needs that push.

My son can enjoy ole in school and at home nearby centre as well. It is cheap.  Moreover, all art, music and p.e. are taught by professionals. They can learn really good technique here. They will have free instruments lessons.  The p.e. lessons are really good as well. My son now know how to 打前滾翻，轉呼拉圈，throw and catch a ball which he didn't know or could not do before.  Pkc emphasis all rounded person development which is what I wanted.

PKC also teaches them Chinese traditional manner and culture  to respect others and 相聲 etc. I think they are improving and put more emphasis in this area in this two years with more focus and activities designed for this purpose.  Pkc also added IT lesson this year.

In conclusion, I think it is changing in a good direction and showed me that it has the ability to move forward in a better way while wkf is not so certain to me.
