請問各媽媽爸爸，CKY的IB成績同國際學校比較係點嘅呢？見其他版主的IB排名post上邊好似冇CKY排名，所以想了解下係CKY成績唔好定係其他原因。重想請教一下CKY入外國大學嘅成績如何呢？thanks in advance for sharing!

CKY第一屆IB 出年考 , 但稍低年班的IGCSE已有兩屆，想問成績(比較其他本地也考IGCSE的學校)是如學校所說的十分好嗎?

Thank you for pointing out it's their first graduation year! a very good point! but ijust want to see how they compare with other schools overall. As some other schools like VSA also hasn't got their own home-grown graduation class yet, so just want to see what's the difference.

Some friends of mine gave up those traditional famous schools for new IB schools must be with forward thinking mindset. As a matter of facts, many of those alumni had already made such move....bet on IB stream will become a main stream in 10-20 years. Given the limited supply of IB schools, CKY has become a good target for local Chinese families after CIS. ISF, VSA are also good choices among the new schools (if we compare teaching staff qualification with local traditional schools, we are disappointed on what we see in those famous locals.) Regarding IB results, we cannot rely on the very limited data to make a choice. We got to buy in the new school management and leadership and assist to groom the school. Take example of HKUST vs HKU in 20 years old, it is meaningless to compare job placement of graduates (of course, more relevant for high school students by now). If we really want to compare CKY with established INternational schools, I would compare their management (if we have access :) and school year plan. After viewing other threads, be reminded there are only top students not top schools. Top students will make a school named "top school". Good Brand will then draw in top students :)

CKY雖然係一間好學校，但頭一兩年大家都唔好期望太高，要比0的時間。

The first batch of VSA's home grown graduates (who started all the way from kindergarten) attended IB exam in May 2012.

無意冒犯，但一間全新的學校，頭幾屆的學生理應不會太突出，特別是CKY的第一屆，因為第一年收的是小一和小二，即第一屆是從小二開始，可以想像，已在心儀學校讀小一的，不會輕易轉校，所以轉到CKY讀小二的，應多來自二線學校。第二屆則由小一開始，同樣理由，有一線小學收的，也不會輕易放棄而轉投CKY。如此類推，頭幾屆也不會太突出，但現在首兩屆的IGCSE已"見得下人"，可見學校和學生都算有交代了，IB成績也不要給太大壓力了。
