The last 2nd in application no. is 353x so we may deduce that the total no. of applicants is around 3540.

The 2nd round is 682 (19%) and the no. of places is 168 (25% of 2nd round, 5% of the total no. of applicants) - The competition is still very keen even if it is very lucky to get into the 2nd round!

是不是有922個進入 2nd in 呢？
兩份2nd in 名單各有30組學生，其中19組每組11人，21組每組12人。這樣算來兩個時間段總共有922人呢！！

恭喜晒獲得2nd in 的小朋友

。其實去年都無正式interview 家長，不過老師/主任會個別見一見考生的家長，對一對文件，順道問吓家長對學校有無乜野問題。我地見左個主任都唔夠5分鐘就走得。不過我見有些家長話學校同佢地討論番first in 時填過既問卷，不過都係好輕鬆咁傾吓計，大家可以放心！至於2nd in，我家小朋友話係玩遊戲同跟老師指示畫畫，佢當係玩，好開心入去in，好開心出番來！大家加油啊！

I have heard from a CKY parent that some siblings did not get a second interview last year. Not sure if it is so this year.

唔駛in家長不等如要做3rd interview。學校意思係在2nd interview 時唔駛好formal 咁 in 埋家長。2nd interview 後會有一批正取生同後備生，3rd interview 係到call waitlist 時揀後備生才有。

That's absurd. The said benefit has been cut by the Government for the new civil servants as they said the civil servant can enjoy the 9 years free education. What's the advantage huh?

乜呢個世代仲有好多人冇$讀大學咩？又grant loan,畢業後慢慢還，所以你個理由好vague

It's really difficult and they don't accept as many as before. They limit the class size to 28 so only if there is drop out.

即使假設CKY的家長中很多是公務員，也不代表CKY喜愛收公務員子女。只不過系報名的人中多公務員家庭。CKY學費不便宜，能付擔的都是中產以上，中產人士中公務員占很大比例，所以這叫做self selection.自我選擇。並非學校選擇的結果。

Please read carefully the policy. Not all civil servant can enjoy this benefit. This benefit has been cut and all newly joined civil servants are not entitled for this subsidy.

Do you have any kid? Has your kid applied CKY or and DSS or private school? You really think the kids of those civil servants will have advantage over your kid? Do trust your kid if you have one. Don't discourage them and do praise them for their effort paid and at the same time learn how to praise others good performance.

Almost being tricked if parents not attending the interview. The short "cases" sound like graduate school admission questions :)

但今日個安排比較混亂，可能又下雨，我地1st time slot 係度等放，3百多個家長等緊2nd slot 的又來等，auditorium 又坐滿人。總之就比上次差好多。但當然有offer 我都會入讀。但希望明年改善下。
