你們會揀那一間？兩間學校有咩優點及缺點？

I can only comment on creative primary school's kindergarten as my son has been there for 2 years.  He gets daily exposure to mandarin and english with NET teachers, however, the english standard is still lower compared to international school.  He goes to an international school now so i can tell you that by observation.  His Mandarin standard is also lower compared to international school, which is quite surprising because i thought being in an international school, mandarin was offered just because everyone wants to learn nowadays (proofed me wrong.. haha).

Otherwise he has had a happy 2 years at CPSKG.  The teachers are very caring in general, and if we have any enquiries, the teachers are very willing to call us back on the same day.  We can discuss any concerns with the teachers and they will cooperate with us to look into the matter.

There is not a lot of homework at CPSKG, my son usually spend like 10 minutes finishing them every day.  Little bit of writing and maths....

Location wise.... CPSKG is quite remote, school bus is really useful where as YC is situated in a much more convenient location with mtr/kcr assess.

Mumbc, Thanks for your info. Do u mind tell me at which int'l school ur son is studying? Why do u change from CPSKG to the current school?

Would you mind to share around how many minutes of English and Mandarine classes your son had every day while he was in CPSKG?

The class starts with cantonese class teacher with an assistant teacher. Then they get split up and spend time with mandarin teacher, then english teacher, and switch again. So with only 3hrs at school every day, i think its about 40min. each gua? Cos need some time for toilets, break time for snacks etc....

my son got an offer for the 2-years programme next year.
May I know what they will learn during the classes? As the teacher told me that it depends on the students, so I dont have a clear picture for the curriculum. Please advice. Thx

Please don't expect there are much academic things will be learned in the programme. Mainly learn (life) via different activities such as play, eat, sing together.

Hi, may I know if the ITLP program helps develop kid's discipline and manner besides self-confidence? My son likes exploring very much and he's active enough, i think. Since he's only 1 year old, I don't look for academic training in program but focus on discipline and manner, as well as self-development. Not sure if ITLP is good in this aspect? My worry is that if he stays too long in a too relaxing environment, he will have difficulty in traditional schools afterwards. I aim to send him to traditional primary school, and won't stay at its two-year program probably.

Sorry for so many questions. Would you and other mothers of ITLP help, thx.

不清楚ITLP program, 只知道有些同學由YCIS kinder 升上耀小，耀小都好嚴，老師要求學生要有禮貌，個別有學生太頑皮，老師會先給口頭warning，沒改善的話，就被送到另外一班，等其他班同學都知道。再沒改善就要見訓導主任或見家長，一般學生被送到其他班後，都會知錯，可能因為面子，好快就改過。因此不用擔心discipline& manner 吧！至於academic方面，同學都很積極及投入，學校主張team work，Y4已經可以合作做project,學生亦可參與很多活動。與local school比較一定有不同。我小孩曾經都是就讀local school，放學回家還要應付一大堆功課、默書，還要幫他們做美術畫畫。雖然本地學校教的課本知識很多，但小孩未必能完全吸收，考試測驗就要家長幫忙温習，就連家長都覺suffer當中。但我亦很慶幸我小孩先入讀local school磨鍊一下，再轉去is!
