Anyone share the comment about Badminton and Headington girls school?

I knew a CKY School student who went to Headington year 9 two years ago and she liked the school.  The same year, my daughter knew a SPCS student went to Headington sixth form. I guess Headington is good and is relatively easy to get in.

I knew another F.5 HKCEE student from a local (district band 1) school went to Badminton sixth form two years ago. She was on the waitlist and got the offer one week before the new school year commenced.  She is studying LLB in LSE now.  My impression, Badminton is academically better.

Personally, I like Cheltenham Ladies' College and St Swithun's better.  Yesterday evening, we met CLC's principal and admission officer in a parent's meeting held in the British Consulate-General HK.  There were hundreds of parents and most of them looked like professionals. I met my previous colleague, who is a white English with a daughter attending GSIS, is also considering CLC. CLC is competitive, relatively less fiercely competitive than Wycombe Abbey.

Headington is a much bigger school with >1000 girls compared with <500 in Badminton so perhaps it can provide more facilities. But its percentage of boarders is much smaller. Personally I perfer schools with a higher percentage of boarders, as I think it must be very sad to be left behind while seeing other kids going home every night. Also with a smaller number of boarders, there is more chance for all the Hong Kong kids to stick together as they only have each other for company in the evenings & at the weekends.

Headington 環境會好我剛剛回來. 我以前住 headington. Very nice. I have never been to Badminton. My son is in boarding school in Kirkham.

I am currently studying in Headington School, I would say that this is an excellent school with good facilities and results. We get an awful lot of help from teachers. The only thing that concerns me is the number of Chinese student here. There are way too many Chinese students in this school.

I am a Headingtonian. I graduated a few years ago. I love the school and the environment. I agree that there are a lot of Chinese. I enjoy staying there and I know that it is expending.

The admission rate to top universities are high. With myself and my friends, at least 10 got into Oxbridge (Oxford and Cambridge), about 10 went into Medical school, quite a lot in LSE, UCL, Imperial, Kings, Warwick, Bath....

And also, Emma Watson studied in Headington with 4As

There are lots of Chinese people in both schools. I would prefer St Swithun's for Girls School.
