I found that it should start from next MONDAY. But we can download the form until 31Oct2012.

It's not. My friend is not richman, but his daughter is now K2 at CCKG. She born in Dec 2008.

好像不可以的，CCKG 和協恩出左名每年只收該一年既小朋友，如你2008年出世既囡囡，可能只可報插班K3了！

As far as I know, CCKG's students usually have higher chance getting into DGJS and DBSPD. How about the successful rate to get accepted by other primary schools?

Seems that these two schools are the target of the parents of CCKG students. Other schools are not that distinctive.

In fact they are keen to accept children whose mother or father are from DG or DB... They asked about such background on the form

張notice寫住唔一定會入dg，db，亦無關系。
但如果爸爸媽媽係舊生，又要列明係張form。咁即係點。睇完明眼人就知，分明係dg，db畢業係有着數。

如果父母係DB 舊生亦要特別註明，唔係果d學生有著數，係學校揾著數多d呢！自行分配學位自然高分架啦！

It is called self selection bias, i.e. these parents who want to get their kids into CCKG are already aiming at DXXXX. Therefore the percentage is obviously higher.

同埋想問：填了申請表也並不代表可以interview嗎？咁是否要呈交portfolio?或是學校根據什麼條件來選擇什麼樣的小孩方可interview?

現時架構上好似無咗校長，由校監 Revd Royden 主理，所有通告都係由佢既名義發出。

無需要太介懷邊個係校長，因面試時唔需要家長參與，亦唔會問細路哩d 野。

thank you for your information. My concern is: do you think Mrs Fielding was a key factor to dgs accepting a good portion of cckg girls (be it her connection with dgs principal or the fact that she could pick up kids that dgs likes etc)?

did the % of admssion to dgs drop after she left?

或者咁睇，CCKG 成立了四十多年，Mrs. Fielding 在職約十多年；而 CCKG 在 Mrs. Fielding 未任職前應該亦是以入讀 DGS 聞名。

thank you.... you have a point. is your kid studying at cckg? can you share more about the cirriculum, teachers and p1 allocations? i am sorry for asking so many questions but my daughter is actually in a good through train school so i am still deciding whether it is worthwhile to apply...

課程全用英語，每天約 30 min 上中文堂，老師多數都是資深的。我最喜歡既係學校無乜功課比學生，只有課餘既閱讀。而 P1 allocation 我就唔清楚了。
