I may suggest PET since the standard of Flyer and KET are about the same (Not sure I rembmer right or not, you may check from Bristish Council on the progress path on all the examination they provided)
If your child has very good English result at or above P.6, you may try!

ket 啦！PET會深過FLYER好多。

KET考到PASS，好似等同FLYER，不過KET攞到DISTINCTION就等同PET嘅PASS。

You may take course for PET to stregthen the child's English standard until he/she is ready for the exam!

Pet(for school) is comparatively easier than Pet .

Flyer is no use for place in S1 when interview.
KET or PET is minimun.
But School result is more important then above Cert.
Pay more effort in school exam get more score in it.
The above Cert. can not give any advance for place just for reference.
My P3 kid take PET for school and pass with merit.
But it is common in class. He is study in EMI school.

Study in EMI school?
Testing style for Flyer and KET is different.
For taste and get high mark, take KET
For test kid ability, go for PET
Do not give any training for test, just tell the testing style to kid.
It is the real and true ability.
If your target is certificate, please joint the course and reviews many past paper.
But this is not real ability of kids.
My target of test is measure the ability not for certificate.

Thanks! Yes, EMI school. Just gave few papers to him to get familiar with the test format. Maybe this time, just go through the format with him but no test papers^^
