Been told by the school that the interview will be held in October, which still have not heard from them yet

九龍塘分校本來係 13 号, 改左月尾/ 11 月頭 ! 佢話因 13号第間分校做 !

I called Zenith Kowloon Tong last week. They said due to overwhelming response from applications this year, they have decided to defer the interviews to mid-Nov instead.

That's good, my bb is a small baby and it is better for her to interview in NOV. Will you take the offer if Zenith accepts your bb?

Do u mean accepting on the spot? Honestly I think this year's competition is going to be more stiff than past years, so I don't think they will offer a place immediately after interview like before. However if they do, I will accept first, coz not sure how my boy will perform for other interviews. He is June BB, not small B, but definitely not big too, so the chance is 50/50. And if they offer later and we are lucky enough to have other offers, we will compare and consider which school is more suitable for my boy.

The competition for this year is really keen and I have applied other kindergarten for my bb such as York and Ming wai. She is a Dec bb and not many school offer interview for small bb for 2 yrs old class (pre nursery class).

Have you applied for York? If so, do you know when's interview to be taken?

I understand where you coming from about being a small B. Sometimes I think it's not that bad. Less choices, less hassles! The most awkward is like my boy who is end of June B and slightly later B up to end of Aug, who are within the accepted age, but reasonably backward in general in terms of development. Anyway 平常心, coz I dont want to get too stressed up at such early stage, and pass it down to my boy who is only 15 mths old now, not fair to him.

We did apply Ming Wai and York too. I think Ming Wai is average. However my boy's cousin is studying there, and they give priority to relatives, so we are treating it as backup. I have checked with York. Interview will be in Dec 2012 tentatively, and invitations will send out in Nov.
