i would like know more about this school, is it a good school or a good step to other IS?

i read from post, the government will take back their Tin Hau Campus for other use, how is the arrangement of the school?

anyone can share experience/comments about this school and if it will take long to line up for a space?

primary school expanding, so not as difficult to get in. Kindergarten is tough to get in.

My daughter has been in IMS for almost 2 years now, she studied at IMS Mid-level for foundation and transfer to TH for Casa. We all love the school and really would like to stay here till she graduate primary.
I am a fan of Montessori and I really think Montessori is very good for kids. My daughter blossom in this school. She is very polite, very independent and well behave. Unlike a lot of IS, IMS is quite discipline and she learns to speak softly and do not run inside her class room. She is good at taking care of herself and you will be impress how independent she is compare to other kids at her age.

I am actively looking and visiting different montessori school now. Will visit ICMS and woodland this week and hopefully will have a better idea.

My first choice is IMS but the next open day will be Jan 2013 only.

Heard that it's very difficult to get in IMS... is interview needed and it will take long before we can get in?

For my daughter, no interview was needed. We were on the queue for around 9 months. But I heard that they need interview now. So I am not too sure!

Honestly speaking, we haven't think that long, as I haven't attend their primary open day before. But I still remember I attend their school tour before I applied to foundation 2 years ago and they told us a lot of their students will be accepted into CIS or ISF as their Chinese is very strong compare to other IS. I do agree that their Chinese is really strong. I talked with many Primary School parents during patents day and they told me their kids in lower primary is already learning 邊傍部手when they first enter lower primary.

Thanks for your comments several months ago .With a lengthy waiting, finally we get a place in mid-level campus.
Hopefully I daughter will have a very good experience in IMS as your daughter doing.

primary school fee is $12 ~ 13K (forgot the exact amount) 25 kids/class

I applied foundation program for my daughter, and got a waiting list offer. And I called them and they told me waiting list= refusal.
Sad.

I also just received a letter saying we are put on the waiting list. So it is a rejection

and $2000 application fee is gone

I wonder what kind of kid will get the chance to be interviewed..

We applied on May or so but we still haven't heard anything from them
