雖然知道係陪跑，只係想提早close file啫。

多謝你回覆，我身邊既co ed小朋友1st in都係group3&4見校長而收咗佢地，所以感覺見得校長都機會大。

我覺得佢地係有套評分標準.
我個女話,佢每做左一樣野, 在場負睇佢既人係會響張紙度mark低d野.
當然, 遇上同分, 咁校長當然有話事權 <--- 這是規矩, 公司做野, 老闆都比你有話事權啦, 唔係只係個別學校係咁.

當日校長話, 2nd in 200人, 收140人, 餘下的60人就係waiting, 所以只可以說入到2nd in就有一隻腳踏入了學校...
不過入得去既都好叻好定好乖, 我諗無論係咩方法佢哋總會揀到合適既學生進入既~

Yes, the Principal does not wear glassess while the vice principal wears glasses.

Unrelated group doesn't mean no chance. Years back, my first son was also belongs to the 'unrelated group' (parents not graduates, not religion related) but the former principal still chose him. As I mention before, I believe that they also mark the kids while they are in the waiting room, walking in the corridor, how they react with their parents. The most important things is the behaviour of the child.

Well, it's too long ago. He's in secondary school now. As far as I remember, he played games with other kids in the present of teachers. Then answered some questions after story telling by principal. He performed normally but not extremely well. But his behaviour was very good and impress me at that time. In the former school where he needed to wait at the corridor for 2-3 hours and the 2nd interview 4-5 hours! He patiently waiting, studied books with me. That's why I always think the teachers observe the child at all time. My sharing is the first kids you don't have pressure. But for the second kid it is very stressful as you now have expectation. So, don't admire those in the related group.

While waiting my boy's interview, I saw Principal coming out from the hall. It seemed to me that all candidates during the same timeslot was not selected. I didn't know Vice Principal maybe she also had the authority in selecting the candidates.

Yes, I think she is the vice principal. Actually you can open the school website and let you kids to see the photo of the principal. Each candidate should be interviewed by either the principal or the vice principal.

I don't think so. I think whether the kid to be interview by the principal or the vice principal should be already arranged prior to the interview.

Beside principle and vice principle there is also the head teacher, so your kid will either be interview by one of them.

I think the 1st in result will be released end of Oct or early Nov, because the 2nd in is arranged in early Nov. As usual, the school gives a short notice to candidates for their interview.

I heard SPCC also like to recruit family background with strong Mandarin to suit their PTH teaching in P4-6. Well... never know if she is an excellent kid as all these must leave it to SPCC to assess her. Definitely, strong background is a key...

A lot of parents both can't speak mandarin still have theirs kids admitted. Don't side tract the issue! The behaviour of the kid is the key.

First see the teachers then interview by principal/vice principal/? head teacher. You can ask you kids to describe who has he/she met? Bring books all the time! The students in this school have a very strong culture of reading.Remember good behaviour is very important (at very interview actually). Good luck!
