From previous experience, 'no'. They shortlist around 200. In the second interview, parents and child will be interviewed together by the headmistress. They finally choose 150 from the 200 and the rest will be in the waiting list.

There should be 5 classes and each 30 students. At least this is the situation in higher forms. Correct me if there is some changes in this year. I guess they reserve some seats for 幼稚園提名(助學)計劃 http://www.spccps.edu.hk/news/20120620news0001
Last year, 6 students was admitted via this scheme. I guess the remaining seats was allocated via the normal channel. Pure guess! Don't have real evidence!

SPCC primary section used to accept less students in the junior forms, say 28 students (14 boys an 14 girls) in P.1 and P.2 who are in need of more attention at such tender age. The size of each class will be eventually increased to 30 students in the senior forms so it will be easier to get into the school by then.

A few years back, this is not case. There was 30 students in each class of P1 making a total of 5 classes. There will be less students in upper forms as some of them change to international schools or study overseas.

以今年小二為例，二甲至二丁班各有十四男十四女，只有二戊班係十五男十三女。

佢地講明有大部份位係留比有關係人。
比無世襲關係既人，都有幾十個既。

年年都有D有關係的人入唔到，亦有D冇關係的入到，大家唔好未考先輸，比D信心自己個小朋友，唔好咁緊張先後次序，做好面試先啦。

就當年經驗，我都係喺冇關係，非世襲同冇宗教信仰嘅組別(即第四組)之中，我記得我係比其它組別嘅人遲收面試信，等到所有一二三組的人面試完後才到我哋面試，而第二次面試都係排到最後，所以，如果妳係”非關係”組別，係會遲收信的。

今年好似有D唔同左。
我都係第4組，但同我個女同學同一日INTERVIEW（呢個同學有家姐讀緊）

其實今年好多學校都係你估佢唔到了！
所以我都平常心，盡心做好自己本份算數，上天自有安排！

有關係基督徒為第1組，有關係非基督徒為第2組，無關係基督徒為第3組，無關係非基督徒為第4組(亦即係所謂百無人仕)。SPCC講明每年小一收生中，1&2組收生不會多過70%，以收140人計亦即係不會收多過98人，而3&4組就不會少於30%也就是42人。

見到大家話收到信, 但我又冇信, 有點擔心.
剛打了電話到學校問, 原來是"陸續寄出緊面試信", 並未寄晒.

Don't worry! There is no sure thing as 'lower rank'. I know so many cases that even thier brother and sister are studying in the school, the kid still got rejected. On the otherhand, many children without 'special talent' who are supposed to be not related to school still got admitted. I think the interview performance is extremely important.

I don't think there is any relation about the timing of receiving letter. Some first "in" have already been conducted thsi morning. Parents do not need to be interviewed.
