Hello everyone!

Would like to know whether there is any playgroup that uses only or mainly Cantonese? Nobody at home talks with my bb in Cantonese, so I am wondering whether going to a Cantonese playgroup would help.

CPDA, they have several branches in different districts, they are mainly in Cantonese, you can search their website via internet. Hope can help you.

I think going to a Cantonese playgroup will certainly help, but personally I think in HK, it's never difficult to pick up Cantonese coz it's everywhere. Even if your child doesn't get a chance to speak or hear Cantonese at home, she/he will definitely have the chance outside home.

Thanks minirat. What you said is true on one hand, but on the other hand i have seen people in the int'l stream who do not speak Cantonese even they live in HK. It just makes sense and natrual for babies born and living in HK to speak Cantonese, and I just want to give her the chance to do that.

Thanks a lot ekhc. Any idea which campuc is better? It seems they decide which child to accept by 電腦抽籤? In that case luck will play a more important role...

幼潛 is on course base. 10 lessons for one course. Priority is given to existing students, despite lucky draw.

We haven't been to CWB. Can't comment. Comparing TST and KT, we prefer TST which is more easily accessible, while we needa go up stairs (4 storeys) at KT centre.
