我老公今朝8:35am去到已經有over 30人排佢前面
佢寫住first round係10月20 or 22 未有時間
佢話9月7號下午5點登入個網址, 到時先會confirm 日期, 時間
2nd round interview (first round揀300人)

2點到4點兒子學東西時間去交，2個小時從青衣地鐵站過去上環，上環坐的士過去不知道時間夠不夠時間，在ipa上看坐的士6分鐘左右？

Why don't you take MTR to Kowloon Station and then take Bus#905 (1 stop only)? Then go there by walk for about 5-10 min.

Yes, take MTR to Kowloon Station. Then take Bus#905 at the bus stop at the entrance of the Western Cross-Harbour Tunnel. The frequency of Bus#905 is quite high and so you do not need to wait for long. Get off at the first bus stop after leaving the tunnel. Then walk to Hill Road. Of course you need to estimate the travelling time you may require but I guess this way is quite fast.

You may take a shortcut through Shek Tong Tsui Muncipal Services Building (wet market). There take escalator up to the hill. Check the map and you will know the way.

學校話今年聖誕節後就會搬, 所以13年9月已經在新校舍

You can tell him the P1 admission is keen not just for St Paul Boy, but for all private and DSS schools these few years. Even you don't go for the above schools, the lucky draw and central allocation is also fierece because of the increase number of students. So no need to care about what he say, do what you think its' right.

學校講明2次interview都只會用廣東話, 所以不用担心啊~~

My boy is now in S4 and your thread did bring back some aged memories.
There were only 720 plus applicants back in year 2003-2004 intake application. At that time there was only one interview and every boy were interviewed by Mrs. Chan. Although there is a first interview now, Mrs. Chan's second interview questions seems to be still in the same pattern for all these years. She always asks questions that can identify children's abilities in reasoning, observations and manner of communications.
My family had no connection with SPC at that time, and so don't worry about that part. Actually, I have heard compliant from old boys about their sons not being accepted by the primary school.

Some people say the percentage from P6 to F1 would be around 80-85% for SPC. Although not one-dragon, but this percentage is still high compared with other schools.

For 2012-2013, no of applicant is around 1500, base on previous discussion, for 2013-2014, no of applicant is around 1800. In terms of percentage, the no of increase is 20%.
For some simple calculation, the no of seat available for P1 is 96, so for 2012-2013, the successful rate be 6.4% whereas for 2013-2014, the successful rate be around 5.3%

住新界區的家長, 會覺得遠, 分分鍾校車費貴過學費, 又早起身, 朋友住KWUN TONG 個仔都要6:30am 上車, 九龍區--st paul車費都要$2500, 如果有幸收仔我個仔, 我都要考慮搬過去, 放學時間, 紅隧都好塞架, 學校搬去新校之後, 又遠左, 香港仔隧道又係好塞架, 所以少人報, 係理解.

2013-2014 has 4 clasess, but 2012-2013 had 3 classes only.

多年感覺是合格線多幾分就算"良好"；通常這类情況下，操行分可能影響大一點。

What formal information can show that 2013-2014 has four classes and by how many student per class? As last year, it shows that EDB has not yet approved for four classes in 2013-2014 although the new campus is ready for four classes for each form.

Just phone to school. The clerk informs that the no, of intake of 2013-2014 should be 96. though she did not mention how many classes there will be.

If for four classes, it means the teaching resources (teachers and admin) will be increased by 25% to support with. So if EDB has not approved yet, I don't think there will be four classes in 2013-2014
