My boy is interested in singing. So I wanna know the differences among them. Though I understand most of the organisations require audition.

1) 香港歌劇院兒童合唱團
2) 香港兒童合唱團
3) 香港童聲合唱團
4) 都會歌劇院兒童合唱團

My friend tried 3 of them
1 and 4 are similar.
1 is bigger size, well known and many ppl.
4 smaller size but kids hv more chances to be main character!
3 has chance to perform oversea!
1,4 and 2,3 are in different types! If you want To join transitional choir, then 2 or 3.
If you like to act as well then join 1 or 4.
My friend also said last time she was in 4 need to buy many tickets to Support kids' performance!! She bought 40 tickets!!! And need to pay extra lesson fee before performance.

I see. Yes, it's true. 1 and 4 are training children to perform musical drama, while the other 2 are vocal training. I asked my boy, he said he wants vocal, as he may be too shy for musical. But I am thinking musical drama would be more all rounded training, am I right? So it's more difficult for small kids. How about this one 香港兒童音樂劇團 in Tin Hau? Apart from it is Cantonese drama, is it a bit easier for small kids? Anyone can share your experience? Because I prefer a center in HK island, but most of them teaching lessons in Kowloon. Anyone has any other suggestions?
