唔知大家教BB

各名詞如食物水果時, 係用英文定中文呀? 我怕而家教英文, 到時幼稚園INTERVIEW係講中文...

you may consider not use "BB language", foreigners will not say "fish fish", "tree tree".

You need spend time to correct your baby don't use BB language when she / he used to use them.

oic, thanks! But, it seems it's easier for her to remember those BB language such as "sh sh", "奶奶","洗白白"... are those wording also not good??

fish fish同fish 都係一樣.
到時你教多次仲煩.

同埋最好唔好同時又中又英.
會亂.

中英混雜嘅後果係
老師：「俾個蘋果我呀」，小朋友只識apple，唔識蘋果
老師＂give me an apple"，小朋友唔明全句英文嘅指示，結果媽媽要講「俾apple老師」，小朋友至明。
呢個係真實個案

唉！我個仔就係又中又英！我們說話全中，但姐姐教佢英文，佢英文吸收快，結果好多名詞只懂英文，佢宜家兩歲，我正努力教佢中文，但都唔明，有時同佢溝通，變左要加個英文名詞佢先明！唔知點搞好！下個月返PN, 希望學校環境另佢改變

I used english in the first 2 years because to align with helper.

Now (3 years old) she can handle Cantonese and english vice verse.

No problem to use English / Chinese when you speak the whole sentence by using one language. Just don't try to mix together on the same sentence. and you should speak once agin with the correct wording,but not saying you are incorrect. They can understand what's correct.

Yes. Baby can understand what you teach them. you need to correct them later if they start to use BB language.
