想問問見有啲學校要學生AAA(eg) , 先有得見，我想問個A,eg 英文，係講緊讀本卷還是整個英文科？

我個仔成績表係列出所有科目每一份卷，無記錯十七個科目及三個主科平均分，最後有個排名既平均分，全部都用abc 列出

其實差少少就A係好唔抵。
有些學校是85分以上是A,有些要90分以上才A,這才更唔抵。

Sure A. Nevertheless, grading of each category under Chin and Eng e.g. composition, dictation, GE, etc will be disclosed to the secondary schools when you submit the application form together with the required assessment report.

Simply talking about the grade is meaningless. I know of some MCPS girls who only get G- (i.e. B- for other schools) in English & Math. However, according to my husband, their Eng & Math are way better than a lot of straight A students from some quite good schools.

When you apply to Sec. schools, they know how to adjust the grades from different pri. sch.

Nowadays, schools tend to focus on interview. Interview has been rated more significant in selection process.

我都係咁想, 聽到有中學問小六學生考第幾先派叩門表, 我想如果小學唔公佈考第幾, 家長亂講都得為求一張叩門表...

Don't worry. A friend of my husband who is a very senior teacher in a reputable school told us that schools already have a reference chart to compare schools. Moreover, EDB publishes ranking of P6 students for the HK schools' reference. So, if the principal see a BBB student from a top-tier school has higher ranking than a AAA student from a 2nd tier school, she knows what it means.
