Dear all, I want to put some son in England for studying. Heresay holding BNO can arrive England without student visa but only requiring UKRP (居留許可証- FOC). Not like Holding HKSAR Passport requires Student Visa. Am I correct? Please correct me if I am wrong.
In fact, what's the difference in holding them?
Which one possesses advantages in studying there?
Can the child forfeit HKSAR passport to apply for BN(O) now?

In the eyes of British, BNO holders are NOT British.
I would not try anything NOT officially announced by UK Border Agency.

In the past, BNO holder can apply the student visa free, but I think it is no longer true.

As far as I know I'm sure you still need a visa if you don't hold a British passport. BNO is not class as a British passport unfortunately.

同意，BNO同英國護照有分別。BNO 去英國都要簽証。
