To be fair to student123321 and to appreciate the effort rendered, he/she did not release any information of any particular schools in question.

The heading of the picture writes "Examples of IB applicants profiles (University Entry 2011).

Actually the schools will provide guidance and consultation to help students choosing universities. So I also don't think that posting all these actual results of students to public is appropriate... are you a staff of the school? How can you get so many pics of these results??

When I attended the parents conference held by the Counselling Department of my D's school sometime last year, the Counsel would put some cases on the projector and discuss with parents about the range of scores required by a particular college or subject. I think the figures provided in the pictures posted by student123321 are examples and are not necessarily related to any particular school or particular student. In fact, no particular of the school or student is disclosed in the Examples. I tend to think that it is proper for student 123321 to post such pictures. We should be grateful to student123321's serving.

很多東西都是所謂犯法, 包括轉貼網上新聞文章

這是家長很想知道的事, 選科, 位得幾個,

學校不想學生亂放位置, 盡力善用位置

今年英基幾間中學的predicted grade比以往幾年差

這關乎學生前途

年年學生, 都想放最好,

十幾多年前, 幾間本地大學, 開始將成績放上網

中位數, UQ,LQ 數字

十多年前, 港大中大,是第一批大學收生數字擺上網

偏偏就是IB, uk alevel ,沒有放上網, 經非聯招的途徑的入學難度

他們的答案, 就是年年不同

學校看不過眼, 想學生make smart choices

分數好, 佈署不好的學生很多, 過度高估, 與低估自己的學生很多

如果做商業用途, 我相信我有罪

我認為我沒有錯, 上帝歸上帝, 凱撒歸凱撒

You should not do that. We have different opinions in the forum. That is a real life we have to face day to day. As I said, the photos posted by you are "Examples" for discussion purpose. There is no mention on the school or the name of students concerned. I cannot see why there is any problem (no matter how slight it is) for you to share the "Examples".

I had attended several parent-counselor meetings for my kids (when they were in Grade 11 and Grade 12). The counselor would discuss the range of score required by the colleges and put examples without names on the projector to show parents why this particular student was admitted and why that particular student was unsuccessful.

Recently, the school purchased/developed a software int the web for the parents of the Grade 12. The parents could check how many past students were offered admission by a particular college and the ranges of score (the lowest and the highest) score of the admitted students. The software would provide the number of students attending the particular school in the past 5 years. Of course, parents could not know the names of the past students but the information would certainly help the parents and the students to make decisions on the particular college. For example, if no students of IB point lower than 40 was admitted to Oxford in the past 5 years, you would not choose Oxford if your PG is only 38.

What you shared were not state secrets. I could not see it is wrong for you to do. I encourage you to share the remaining posts with us.

分享資料上邊寫明係"EXAMPLES", 即係用來參考用, 而且又冇個人私隱資料係入邊, 分享呢滴資料應該冇問題, 而且UPLOAD都好費事, 多謝STUDENT123321唔怕麻煩同大家SHARE
