小朋友升小二, 其實如果依家先開始比佢考 Cambridge exam, starter, mover, flyer, 有無用呢???

If kid study in EMI or international school, may be OK as your.
FCE is difficult, most S2 or S3 can not get good result on it.

Please do not misunderstand me.  I am not a 怪獸家長, and actually I am against pressing the children to get certs for sec. school entry.  I just cannot bring myself to agree with the saying that a normal kid should be able to get FCE within the primary years.  If she really thinks that, then writing CAE & CPE in sec. years should be a piece of cake to her child.

As you said, English is not everything, and different kids have different talent.  I wholeheartedly agree with you.

If you read my other posts, you will know that a daughter of our friend even wrote IGCSE & SAT within her primary years.  Are we going to judge other kids with this standard?  Not to mention that our own children do not meet these parameters.

我囡囡都是五年級一考就考flyer先，跟住同年考埋ket，都係無上過堂，只是做過兩本練習，成績ok，我都有放在profile裏讓中學參考，之前同阿女交過去上智中學，學校仲打咗果記號在flyer張cert到，但阿女都唔係攞滿分的。
