My kid learns percussion for years and is going to attend exam of higher level. We face a problem now: where can we get more practise? Any mom who has kid learning percussion has brought xylphone/marimba at home? Or you rent or go to studio to practise? Please advise.

我仔都是用開drum pad同glockenspiel黎練但現在glockenspiel 不夠用了，打算暑假買marimba(老師建議如屋企放得落，marimba比xylophone好，因其音色變化較需多練習)，snare drum 太嘈了，所以在家仍用drum pad 練

Same problem as your boy using glockenspiel now (不夠用了). But marimba is very expensive and my hubby don't want to put it at home especially we have piano already (no more space lar~). Do you know if we can rent marimba at home like piano for short period for exam? Or any referral of studio that my boy can use to practise? Thanks.

都是book 房練only，我都未物色到有邊度可以租，連2手都好難搵，我都send了pm給你

For Grade 5 percussion exam, my boy has not played marimba gar, only played xylophone.
