10個月大的小朋友，what do you expect???

他應該先學爬、先探索四周，要是整日坐定定您就驚了。您可陪他傾計、陪他玩，輕拍樂器，聽音樂，到公園晒太陽，睡覺吃東西.....書? 布書就可以了! 有顏色有圖畫就可以了。聽講讀寫，是四個次序，不用心急啊!

As long as you keep a reading habit with him, he will eventually loves reading. You can start with touch and feel books, books with animals (real ones), and books with some sounds. But mostly colorful with context.

It is also important to teach him how to handle books properly. Like Radiomama said, 10 months old should be exploring the world around him. What you can to is to foster a love of book, and set a time everyday to read with him, start with 5 mins, than slowly increase it. You will eventually see the results.

It seems you are over focused with the baby. Parents need to learn too. Please choose some books for your own reading so that you can have a better idea with baby's natural and healthy development.
