有無家長可以比到尼方面既資料我呀? 我想請教,讀完英基幼稚園之後,如果考唔到英基小學,咁D學生通常會入左咩學校呀? 有無實例呀? THX

人人背景唔同，能力唔同，報o既學校唔同，安排contingency plan 又唔同，從天堂到地獄；你諗得出o既可能性都有發生過。

其實都可以想像一下:

假設讀完英基幼稚園後, 上不到英基獲資助的小學, 有以下情況:

(1) 讀本地小學, 但小朋友的中文程度成疑, 不知能否跟上本地小學的要求

(2) 讀英基沒有資助的小學, 學費相對較高

(3) 讀其他國際學校, 學費同樣較高

所以, 英基的風險也都高.

For other International Schools with more "moderate" fees:

1) Christian Alliance International School (about $8,500/month)
2) KCIS (about the same as EFS Primary Schools)

陳守仁 is a very good school and I found their students' English level is quite good, and their requirement for Chinese is not very high. Students from ESF Kingdergarten with good English skills definitely have a good chance, I think.

Delia School of Canada also is an English medium school.

Of course, if financial resource is not a problem, then your choices are more.

我個仔3年前都系讀英基幼兒園，但入唔到英基的小學，最後讀英基沒有資助的DC智新書院, 今年仲要俾9XXX建校費，今年又加咗百份8.6的學費，學費真系好貴！

But, frankly, your child is already lucky to have a place in the school. Some parents/children didn't even have the chance to be interviewed.

Am I the only one or are there other parents out there who find ESF's admission policy troubling?

如果你小朋友interview完英基嘅小學，小學出封信比你和幼稚園，你就可以repeat. 但幼稚園只有2，3個位。唔係你想就有位比你！
