i think tutor timr has 10-11 stu per class is too much. duno abt york playgroup good or not. if quit tutor time, needa wait for long time again , means no return if quit. so ... quit or not??

Hi I got the same thought as you did. Tutor time is too long (1.5 hrs) for a one year child and is very pricy. Did you quit tutor time and joined york at last? What is your expereience? Pls share, and thx.

1hr is long, but 1.5 hr is normal for 1.5 yr old bb

Hv you got the offer from York playgroup already? And will you be putting your kid to York PN? If both YES, I'd switch from TT to York. Nonetheless, York is more reputable.

我個仔之前係tutor time 上左八個月，之后返york playgroup 返左十堂，相比之下我覺得tutor time好好多

Agree with u. I think the course design of Tutor time is more comprehensive but you will find it repeated after taking 9 mths. York playgroup is more like kindergarten.

Which class if your kid in Noble Place? Mine is studying there too, but he seems not enjoying that much. I'm considering whether to quit Noble Place. Why do you find it good?

Hi, may I know the content of tutor time Playgroup? What will be done during that 1.5 hours? Are u joining weekday classes or weekend? What is the teacher: toddler ratio? Thx

可唔可以話我知如果weekday 一星期上幾多堂及收費如何..thanks.
最緊要係小朋友學唔學到野, 同埋係咪小朋友獨立上堂架...

我仔仔係YORK 番PN. 之前佢都有叫我番佢地的PLAYGROUP. 不過貴. 我無JOIN. 我之後聽番.好多人都話佢個PLAYGROUP 無特別. 我覺得慳番D 錢同小朋友去玩好過啦..

Yes York playgroup is nothing special. And not cheap like $300 per class.

我最初上weekday,我選一星期一堂，每月大約千八蚊（一年之前的價錢），后來星期六有位我就轉去星期六！每堂schedule如下：

15-20分鐘英文（唱歌，故事等）
10-15分鐘分組遊戲(英文老師在場）
30分鐘茶點加操場自由活动
15-20分鐘普通話唱歌，故事
10-15分鐘分组遊戲（普通話老師在場）

TT家長陪上堂！老師大多數係ABC，但英文純正易聽！環境幾好！

我只上過york同tutor time, 相比之下我覺得tutor time 既課程設計well structured 好多! 而且TT engaged 到小朋友，個個好比心機上堂，好少見到小朋友喊！相反係York, 第十堂仲有小朋友喊，吾只我個仔果班，鄰班亦一樣！係喊到要撤退返屋企果種！上堂亦有小朋友走來走去吾留心！英文老師口音似有少少European English，吾係甘容易聽！唱歌又吾播音樂，靠老師清唱！上堂連我都覺得悶！所以我只recommend Tutor time 比身邊朋友！

Agree that TT is good, but really expensive, espeically no make-up class. But honestly I don't like the PTH part. The teacher is too loud and her pronounction is not desirable.

Have your tried Yew Chung? Heard it's good?

I just attend weekend class of TT- 30 mins Eng with story & 3-4 types activities, 15 mins gym time, 15 mins snack time, 30 mins PTH with story & 3-4 types activities.

我讀左兩期YORK PG, 依家轉番讀屋企附近果D平民PG ... 因為YORK 既PG我都唔覺有咩特別, 都係自由玩一陣, 跟住圍圈唱歌. 有時玩下集體遊戲(有時無就唱耐D), 跟住做手工, 跟住GOODBYE SONG, 送小禮物(堂堂都有). 就係咁. 好多個小朋友, 10-12個. ABC 或者INDIAN 老師.
