世事無絕對, 不過坦然面對得與失吧, 亦不須刻意找原因去justify自己的所謂"失", 例如入到既都係靠關係, 自己唔係專業人士等等. 做個好榜樣比小朋友, 失敗算不得什麼, 不要輕言認輸, 但亦學習自省.

Thanks all for your reply. I appreciated the support and the laugh from the funny comments.

A side note to rcool, dreaming is good! It's important to encourage the kids to dream and to dream big! Key is to teach them to pursue their dreams! This generation has too few too small dreams....

小克，what have I done to make you feel that I'm very keen?  Because I posted a question?  Because I quoted a past posted thread?  Because I thank for the supportive comment?  Or because I laughed at the funny comments?

Let me tell you why...

I posted a question because I want to know and I ask.
I quoted because I want to answer with grounds, not just hearsay.
I thanked because it's the basic courtesy.
I laughed because it's really funny!  These are very typical replies and very HK!  I won't be serious about it.  I guess you are expecting something like "I will never get a chance...  I have no connection with school... My kid is small B... Etc etc" Sorry that won't be from me as I don't like excuses.

Lastly, you think I'm very keen probably is just your impression and speculation.  That may reflect your subconscious but is not the reality.

其實只係一間可能較為出名的幼稚園而已，入到又唔 guarantee 到 d 乜 (有家長都話過未必考到心儀小學)，入唔到又唔代表無機會 (我都知有家長當年考唔到 CCKG，但最後都考到 DBS & SP Co-ed)，無需要冠上 "神校" 之名，而令到相關既討論減少同變得失實。

my friend's son got in no 2nd in. I think there is no second interview just some people spreading rumors.

There were parents shared the experience of 2nd interview so it did happen. Seems that not many had the 2nd int but mostly with sibling studying in CCKG already.

my colleague's child got 2nd interview and got accepted. There is no doubt there is 2nd in for some children. I guess

those with connection - strict in after 1st interview
no connection but smart - 2nd in and some got accepted

I bet you put the words in wrong sequence?
There are parents who revealed they have no connection but got accepted without 2nd interview. And other parents said the 2nd interview was for those who have siblings/old boy/old girl/connection etc.
