If you don't like spoon-feed style, better thick twice. I would say it's not the school's purpose to spoon-feed, but it's the reality that a student has no time to digest, then choose to spoon-feed.

Just take the following ex :
In Thematic (General Education), weekly dictation is needed. Topics are 4 levels up e.g. teach F2 content when u are P.4. Vocab e.g. Phosphorus, Potassium, Incarnation ... can be found in a P3 school-designed text book.
