1. Royal Alexandra and Albert School2. Burford School
3. Shaftesbury School
4. Hockerill Anglo-European College
5. Gordon's School
6. St. George's VA School
7. Kings' School.

Please give some comments on their results, pastoral care, 校風etc..

FYI - Kings school's boarding might close in 2013

yup thx i've got their reply, no boarding facilities provided for girls...
6 options left...
I am worried that i can't sent her to UK in da coming Sep.

Hi roar!,

My choice are similar to yours. But I didn't pick 1. to 3., as their ranking are not good and/or too far away from London.
I also tried Cranbrook School, Wymondham College and Steyning Grammar School. My friend's daughter applied Steyning very late last year (in May), forturnately she got an offer (very lucky!). I'll try to approach these school in July/August again. Frankly, to get a place for the coming September, I think the chance is slim.

Royal Alexandra & Albert ranking is up and down, but facilities are good, management is good too. Boarding fees are quite expensive compare with other state school. not many chinese as others. If you keep an eye on your child's study, they can apply other 6th form state school when they finished Yr11, A level are more important for university. Area is good as well. Around an hours travel from Heathrow to school,

I did an application for Royal Alexandra & Albert School last week. They replied with a detailed information. The registrar is helpful.
Hope a place would be available.
