Here's the interview format of Ming Wai (Prince Edward) last year.

Queue up and grouped into 6-8 kids and go to the interview room.
One parent go to attend the introduction talk
Another parent go to interview room with kids
Kids sit on chairs in semi-circle (parent sit on chair behind the kid)
Interview in 'playgroup' format:
- English and Putonghua teacher (native) sing songs with kids... the 'finger' song, the "head-shoulder-knee-toe" song, fruit songs with many gesture and toy fruits/coloured stuffs. (I think they want the kids to touch them or point to them)
- Some little games- ask kids to pick up something (it's not compulsory, as many kids are too small to respond actively)
During the 'playgroup', other teachers will spot parent one by one and talk. Teachers may use English, Cantonese or Putonghua to interview parent (depends on the nationality of the teacher). Questions like who take care of kid; where to go on Sat/Sun/holiday with kids; why choosing Ming Wai; is the kid need any special assistance in taking care of him/her.

It's a happy interview as kids can play instead of sit properly and being interviewed.

Hope these help!   :)
