Can mommy share some info of Victoria and TT Playgroup:

which one you think is better?

What do they teach your child during class time?

why you feel Vic or TT is better?

My Girl attend TT (Braemar Hill) on every saturday.

45mins English Class - Welcome song, story time, talk about the activities for class, outdoor playtime...not much interaction with Teacher, maybe only 15mins...

45mins Mandarine Class - Snack Time, Welcome song, story time, talk about the activities for class....that's not much interaction with Teacher also...

I'm not sure if there's different if you enroll few times/week...but personal think it's not value for money ... alot of the other playgroup is better...like Bambini , Musikbox...

我仔仔番左Tutor Time PG (多實道) 大約7個月, 3 times per week. 之前有open day 可以參觀同玩, 見仔仔好鐘意間學校就報了. 我覺得價錢ok, 正常價. around $3800/ month. 如果1 week 1 次都要around $1800, 計落好似3 times/week 平d. 我沒去Victoria 睇過, 報tutor time 係因為比較上近DD, 但如果想PN讀番同一間, 你playgroup 就最好選好, 因為可以waive 唔駛interview, 如果論名聲同價錢一定chose Victoria, TT PN 要成around $7xxx / month for only half day. 應該係全港最貴的half day class!!

上緊VICTORIA PLAYGROUP 去APPLY N班都要INTERVIEW, 仲要唔一定會收咖, 同埋VICTORIA PLAYGROUP 要排好耐先有位!

for TT , I got same opinion with ZCW2011. For Victoria it is more things to learn and better interaction with the teacher. They will teach dicipline and 自理, which helps the child to go to PN class. They stress a lot on hygiene.

The design of TT usually target for international schools. If only go with maid, I would believe it is not value for the money it charged.

My son attended both, and I prefer TT.

I find TT teachers are more loving and they provide a better language environment (eng/pth).

我仔上完TT(沙福), 剛剛開始VIC(何文田).
TT有普通話, VIC少(唔係堂堂有).
TT guarantee有N班位, VIC無
論環境同設施, 我覺得TT好D, 起碼有outdoor.
但價錢同名氣, VIC好過TT

我覺得如果樓主希望將來個小朋友讀 international school 就可以考慮讀 tutor time Playgroup, 如果想佢入 local school 就—定係 Victoria. 我都终於幫個小朋友揀咗 Victoria 而唔揀 pips, 因為pips真係好鬼仔學校, 除非打算比佢讀 esf or cis 啦!

Does Tutortime gurantee nursey place after attending playgroup? Do they really have a higher chance to get into international school?
