the primary allocation of KM is better then sc in recent years. Yours is boy or girl? Boy even better with KM. because the principal is the wife of ex LS principal

I prefer KM as my daughter studied there, my little son also get offer from SC PN this year. If KM give PN offer to my son, I will choose KM.

i am not sure. you really concern language? but i think language in KM is not bad also. plus i think their academic is more align with primary school.

多人去ls，因為好多已經夠分入ls的男孩父母把孩子送來km讀書(估計因link up 比較好)，並無其他人事原因哦

回fellow: 2010-2012 小一派位第一位係LS(11%).  正如上面POST講LS 係抽獎, 一係夠分一係夠Lucky, 同km無關係架wor!  果年無人入dbsdp, 1%入yw, 男仔有咩better?

回返樓主. 我仔n1讀km, k1而加讀sc.如果純講n1, 我vote km.  sc hh校舍唔就腳, school fee超貴, 唔抵讀. km係細校, 老師同ee都好nice & 有愛心, 唔教阿仔d老師都知阿仔個名, 可想像間school 幾close! 照顧n1小朋友我覺得會比sc好.

languages, 英文可能sc好d, 中文應該km深d. net比例唔知, 仔仔km n1時英文老師係abc. 而加sc k1,class teacher係英國人. 2間都ok, 我覺得sc會教得creative d, 活動d.

km唔係直升, 7成有offer. 但有部份小朋友會走, 我問過n1 class teacher, 佢話大部份小朋友係去龍校, 有d去sc, kv等. 所以會有位放出, 可以request老師校長收返.

如果我有km & sc pn, 我會讀km. 如果km讀得好就唔轉, 除非想一定入龍校, 或清楚知道其他school係好過km,

1. SC 小學派位可以在那裡看? 想知有幾多入到名小學,如男女拔, 瑪利諾, LA SALLE, 德望, ST PAUL..........
2. SC 今年收幾多PN學生?
3. SC 每年K3有幾多畢業生? 2015-16年K3會有幾多畢業生?
4. KM K3有幾多畢業生?

其實果時都諗好耐。km讀得好好。只考慮係km係am 英粵班，sc offer係am 英普班。就算km轉到英普一定pm. 我想讀am英普，就轉去sc lor!

派位唔關學校事wor! 叩門學校幫手就另計！自行收生階段計分，我仔會只有15分，唔會入到ls. 入直資無話一定km定sc, 睇小朋友表現！

my kid also previously studied in KM (N1) and later changed to SC. Reason is KM not accept my kid to K1.
At least 5 of the KM N1 classmates chose to go for SC despite acceptance by KM to K1.

Their decision to move for SC are because of the better language environment, more active approach and more well-known.

If the kid is more active, I think SC is suitable.

If the kid is able to sit for a while & withstand more homework load (so as parent's workload - checking homework, helping kids for exams), I think KM is suitable.

其實KM N班學生，有KV/SC 甚至其他龍校offer, 一d都唔出奇，因為其他KG都識揀架嘛！
人各有志，其實無話邊間好d，最緊要係啱小朋友就係好！
我當年揀咗留返响KM，因為課程深d，語言環境唔係我考慮因素 (因小兒N班已有K2-K3以上英文程度)，反而因為有親友由SC去YW，發覺做功課吃力(最後要轉校)，令我對SC嘅offer只考慮咗一晚就放棄咗
做功課呢d嘢，睇你小學想點，如果始終都係要做功課/要坐定定嘅，咁就早d 訓練佢地正確嘅習慣~ 唔係好d咩？！
當然，仲睇家長嘅要求，因為老師只會要求做完份功課，但做到幾靚就係家長自己响屋企教.. 你想辛苦定舒適，同讀邊間學校無乜太大直接關係！

最後，我係一個好重視小朋友作息習慣嘅人，早睡早起，對於要年年返am/pm都唔同，係有d保留~

Heard that there is no special credit for sibling going to St Cath though brother / sister did attend before, but KM probably has bit of advantage. Is it true? Please advise.

KM 有國際班，語言環境好ok。KM 功課可以話多個根德園。我有d 朋友係SC 畢業，根基都唔係話咁好。KM 唯一唔好係太新，比起根德，SC, 試過朋友去扣門，校長話唔識KM.

係上年，但我覺得係校長無留意最新情況，因為佢學校一條龍津校，唔憂無學生，係佢眼中只有KV，聖心呢D學校，的確上年叩門係差不多收晒KV學生。KM其實已經好多學校都識！我都好鍾意呢間學校。我小朋友在KM讀N1，之後轉o左去KV讀K1。

其實好多家長都只識sc/kv
我都有朋友唔知我仔讀的km 是何物
不過其實又冇乜所謂o既，讀的是課程，不是個校名

I cannot say that KM N1 is difficult for admitting to K1 as most of my boy's classmates (I guess 60-70% of the class) got accepted in 1st round but it happened that my kid is not their targeted ones.
After receiving the K1 waiting letter, I did write to the principal requesting for K1 acceptance, bearing in mind that the result for SC or other K1 places were not yet out and I was so worried and upset then. Even after SC result was out, I still expressed to the class teacher our desire to stay.

Initially I was not 一心想轉SC, but had no choice to stay. Don't know if I take step to talk to the principal the result will be different or not.

明白，謝謝你的資料。其實我好想仔仔入到KM，雖然KM未有結果，但當今次幸運入到，也未必K1又入到，這種心理壓力很大。以你所知，多唔多家長向校長請求入返K1多唔多？

基本上waiting的個個都會寫信求位, 寫定冇壞! (km 11月巳通知有冇offer 麻..除非巳有心儀K1 offer la) 不過今年話要成5月先知wait 唔 wait 到都幾遲lor!

I think all waiting list KM parents will write to the principal for K1 place, but I really don't know if any or how many will/can talk to the principal directly on this. But of course when the other kindergartens' results were out, some of the accepted classmates choose not to stay. Despite such vacancies, I had never got any good news from KM till the nursery terim end.

Indeed I admire KM nursery curriculum, but one must be prepared (both psychologically and practically, finding other K1 places) for non acceptance of K1,

兩間學校類形不同, 好難比較, 各有優點和捧場客, 名氣以St Cat. 多人認識, 讚好人數亦較多; 據聞劍鳴生今年考直資私小結果唔差, 不過以校方公佈為準, 其實選校應參考小學一覽內目標小學家長分享後才決定.
