Yes, you are right, when the campus opened, you have to pay $25000 more per year, or buy the debenture at the cost of 250,000.

so, buying a debenture of $250,000 is cheaper if you are going to put your kid at CAIS for more than 10 years....

You are right, if your child starts from K1 till high school graduation, the debenture will be the first option, and it can resell to the other applicant.

No matter how much you have to pay, you still have to pay. It's because we, at least I, all vote "No" to our new but hopeless HK education system.

Those have the debenture will get the piority for admitting to the school. The higher competition of IS placement, the more demand of debenture will be, and may be the price will get higher. Just consider the curriculum, and work hard for the future for your children. BTW, my son will be admitted to G7 in 2012/2013.

個價錢真係過份左,最怕係聽日個parent night校長又係話debenture/annual levy未confirm倒d咩,到時先再通知果d說話

My child is not in Cais but I am waiting for the interview results. How come nothing about such debenture was published on their website? is this something unfinalised yet but a must to pay? What did the school report say? Can anyone please share? many thanks!

effective the opening date of the new school 2015 or 2016
The face value of the initial parental debenture will be approximately HK$250,000.
Discounts will be available for families with more than one child enrolled. Discounted debentures will also be offered for early purchase (prior to school opening).
Students not covered by a debenture will require payment of an annual levy equivalent to 10% of the debenture face value; about HK$25,000.
Full details of the debenture scheme will be disclosed in due course.
