If you are accepted by SPCC, then I cannot find one reason why not taking the offer.

SPCC is better than DBS in all aspects, unless if you accepted by DBS for "special talent".

So, the only meritable reason (to be) to go to DBS is no offer from SPCC.

Both schools are comparable, I would say SPCC marginally better.
Personally, my wife and I prefer SPCC more than DBS, but the key stakeholder made the final decision to DBS. He was on waiting list of SPCC, joint DBS through academic results.

My son is studying G11, not for G7. Just clarify some myth about DBS, also taking good academic standing students. Sorry to confuse you.

Special talents just minority.

Some applicants good at academics were also offered earlier in early December 2011. They attended
only one interview and no second interview is required.

Students just focus on studying also ok, not everyone are sports or music genesis.

Just a regular DSS school, not 體院或音樂學院。May be exaggerated by outsiders.

Hi Fong23fong - my son has not attended any 2nd round interview. And I have not heard of others attending 2nd interview (even from his classmates). All I know is that they are going to annonce the result soon. Do you know if anyone attended 2nd round interview? I wonder if that means my son has no chance in the discrestionary allocation stage. Please share. Thanks.
