Does anyone know that some candidates have received calls from CCKG for 2nd interview this Friday? I've heard about this from various sources.

Never say never! So far I know some candidates who have siblings studying / studied in CCKG were called for second interview. Here just want to find out if second interview also applies to candidates who do not have any relationship with the School!

Oh I've got the same piece of news! Not sure if this arrangement only applies to some borderline candidates or to all candidates who have the chance to get the final offer! Anyone knows?

The game rules have definitely been changed this year.

第一次係應酬公眾，第二次係真正的interview, 而且相信絕大部分為關連人士。

I cannot believe it!! This is only talking about K2!! If that is the case, I prefer them not to offer interview to all applicants. A waste of time.

I also foresee that the coming years will have second interviews for K1 and third interviews for primary school.

Thank you so much! Do you have any kid(s) who is (are) now studying in DBSPD / DGJS? Do you receive letter for 2nd interview formally, or just receive a telephone call from school? Sorry for asking so many questions!

我都覺得好奇怪。其實 first round interview 二月二十五日已經完成﹐而result一早就話會係四月三日寄出﹐如果真係一早稔住有2nd round interview, 點解要等到三月十六日先開始in﹖

I just don't understand why it is never mentioned in the interview invitation letter that there will be 2nd round interview. Are these things all black-box? I hope that the whole process is fair game, that is, it is all about first interview performance and not underground connection or wealth comparison.

Yesterday we went to 2nd interview, but it was not Mrs. Fielding who interviewed them. It was done by the class teachers also.

I remember when my kid finished his interview, I saw a Western lady (the only one) at the corridor greeting us. Is she Mrs. Fielding? I thought Mrs. Fielding must be in the interview room so that lady should have been someone else. I guess I was wrong now......

Anyway, good luck to wongting and the other smart kids who got the second chance.

但是以我所知﹐今次差不多所有 sibling (即實收果D) 都有second interview﹐logically, 無經過 second interview process 嘅小朋友﹐有乜可能有offer 呢﹖

你講得好岩，其實真係唔值得大家去再講、去考究、去存有絲絲希望了。因為就我叔仔講番當日 second in 既情形：星期五當日都好多人去 second in，入到去眼見大部份家長都同老師校長們打成一片，閒話家常　（咁大家都明個遊戲係點玩啦）。我叔仔講佢個仔 first in 個日，唔肯自己入去，扭計，之後勉強先入到去，但好快又出番黎。佢知道唔係校長見之後，都以為一定無行　（因為大囡係到讀緊，諗住如果校長見的話，成數會高ｄ），但最後都有得 second in，佢地都知其實係咩一會事囉。至於有 N 無人士有得 second in，真係好少好少數，小朋友可能真係好出眾。

我有個friend,個小朋友, 幾年前入CCKG, 佢同老公唔係名校畢業生, 亦不是什麼醫生律師, 不過佢堅稱自己唔識人, 佢阿仔可能係少數靠自己考入CCKG既小朋友, 佢第二個小朋友後來都想入CCKG, 不過唔得, 所以佢可能真係唔係靠人事.

We are not professionals, and we did not graduate from famous schools. We don't have any connections or siblings in the school and luckily we had the second interview for our kid.

其实好唔明点解要搅刭咁复习,为钱咩,大把幼稚园贵过佢, 仲可以贵佢好多, 为名气咩, 不如唔好公开派表, 不如用名人推荐先可以有表, 真的不明, 一间幼稚园都可以搅到咁黑箱作业, 真系唔可以睇少香港的教育下, 未来的路, 真系识人识人最后都系识人, 好过识字!
