sorry about this obvious question:
How can I find out about how may seats / places in each secondary school?
I try to see the websites of those particular schools I am interested. But sometimes, they only mention the number of classes they have, without specifying the number of seats.
I am new to this secondary school section.

May be you could learn from here how to calculate the number of seats available for S1 students in most of the secondary schools in Hong Kong.

你要等到今年5月初，教局會將各區的學校所提供用作大抽獎用的學額上載在教局網頁。

另外一個辦法就是從自行位的數目計算。一般自行位是學校所提供的學額的30%。

直資學校都是從網上發佈資料。有就有，沒有就沒有的了。計法大致跟官津派位學校一樣。唯班別人數可能有分別，亦未必是34人一班，唯一知道的就是每級班數。有直屬小學的和聯系小學的，學校只能預留不多於分別85%和25%(但實際收幾多%是沒有公佈)的學額給他們。但這些學校好聰明，懂得在不同時間收取不同類別的學生，所以最終邊一次收幾多學生跟本無法預計。
