My daughter took the exam on last Wed for yr 9. She only was tested on Eng & maths.

Any ideas for Dauntsey vs St. Mary, Cambridge vs St.Francis college? How to choose? My daughter studies at convent school in hk, any risk for changing to co-edu?

My daughter will go there for Lower 6 coming Sept. She also studied in girl's school in HK.
I had visited Dauntsey's and St.Mary's Cambridge during CNY Holiday. I found Dauntsey's has a good environment and systematic in the school facilities. St Mary's Cambridge's school campus is too small and quite lot HK girls there. I think co-ed is not a problem for my girl because this communication also she need faced when she entered university.

yes, my girl got an offer after the written test & skipe interview. Cannot make up my mind yet, 2 other girl schools also gave offers and need to answer soon.

Gimum, do you consider the ranking as st. Mary & st. Francis seems higher than Dauntsey.

I haven't any idea on St. Francis, but me and my daughter also more like Dauntsey's than St. Mary...

Hi Gimum,

May take Dauntsey if we decide to let her go boarding. As we are late applicants (started this Feb) and lot of our preferred schools entrance exam were closed. We just tried these 3 schools referred by Agent. That made us confused whether these schools best fit our expectation.
I know this is our fault that we can't make up our mind earlier and apply in time. We are still struggling whether she should go at Y9 (as per agent comments earlier is better)since her existing school also offer IGCSE Exam as at F.4 (i.e. equivalent to Y10 &Y11), then she may save 1 more year and go 2 years later like your daughter entering lower6.

Still have a few days to make up our mind. May let u know if we can be school mate.
