上星期去左政府言語治療師評估，佢話阿仔有社交問題，好小有眼神接觸同唔識表達，言語慢左一年，幫佢排左早期訓練，但要排一年，我想幫佢報住私家先，應該報邊種先啱?
仔仔下個月3歲，上左協康言語治療3個月到，應報d 咩改善眼神呢?

協康有好多收費平宜的小組社交班, 全部是有經驗的導師, 有D優先給排緊政府服務的.
每星期上一次堂, 一邊等服務,一邊自費上堂, 已1年多, 不斷地有進步, 要長期作戰!

Dear manabcd,

Yr kid's assessment of speech delay, poor eye contact is different from social ability matter.
I dont know why your assessor said your kid has social problem from poor eye contact though they have some relations.
Speech delay of course goes to ST
Poor eye contact is not parallel to poor social ability.
I think i have written something about poor eye contact before. You might have a glimpse if interested.
In short, it more relates to sensory integration, speech and intellgience rather than social ability matter.
Btw, I subjectively think it's better make your kid improving through ST, OT etc first before going to social class. It might be more beneficial to yr kid if he has such delay.
