my son is 5 years old now, i am wondering send him to Vancouver, because i was study in there,
is it good now? coz i am afraid it change a lot,
or our place?

yes it changed alot.....have you back to Vancouver these few years? Full of Mandarin speakers and last time I went back. There's a man on the Hasting street shouted....."back to your damn country". I asked my friend why it's like that. she said because of those ppl from Mainland China. (and all of us looks alike, and the guy thought we are ppl from Mainland)

and there are some tinny apartment for renting close to Hasting (near Army and Navy) 223sqt for CAD 800 / month. and some are building 300 sqft for around CAD 170000.......holly it is very expensive compare 10+ years ago. My house was sold out before the price went up...

Yes, not as many pressure from Home work and tests.....but alot of activities same as Hong Kong, my friends' kids learn piano, flute, violin, swimming, dancing.......more than the kids in Hong kong. All Chinese wants their child learn more stuffs

Hi, I am also planning to send my son to study in Vancouver, would you please tell me about the activities (violin, dancing, swimming, etc..) is it free to learn in Public school. Thanks for telling!
