My daughter is in K2, local kindergarden. She went for assessments in both schools.

ABC Pathway said she can go to Cambridege course level 1 midway (this couse focuses on listening, speaking, vocabulary, gramma, tenses, reading comprehension, but it does not teach phonics, 1.5 hr. per week, $350 per lesson) For Phonics, there is another course RWI.

Minimind said she can join Starters (it includes sight reading, phonics, spelling, 1 hour per week, $450 per hour).

Which school is better? I would like me daughter to improve in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Is phonics that important? Please advise, thanks a lot!
