I would like to apply reception class for my kid.

A good school, with a long waiting list. Unless you submit the application form once your child is born, the chance of getting a place is slim. They do not normally hold any interview for reception. Just first come first served.

May I ask if your kid s studying there now?
I also noticed from the school website that applications are accepted from birth. My son is 2 years old now and I am planning to apply for Reception 2014, seems the chance is really slim even if I make the application now. (Sign....)
By the way, do you know how many placements do they have for reception? And do they teach Chinese?

No, my kid is not there. But this is what I know. I submitted the application for my elder son when he was around 3 (last year) as well. What I got is a letter saying that we are on waiting list. So, I think the chance is slim, if any. I submitted an application for my younger son a few months after birth.

No sure about their class structure. You can check their website. They do have Mandarin, but I guess very minimal.
