My son will have an interview with them on Sat, please can anyone tell me what I have to prepare? Do you know what they will ask?? I am a bit nervous.

renee, your son probably doesn't need to interview. my daughter's teacher said existing kindergarten's students will be observed in class.

I don't have much hope for this interview as my son usually won't talk when he goes into interviews....

mrssoho, I hope it turns out OK for your son. I usually give my son a bit of incentive (he also doesn't talk much in a new environment) - for him, a promise to buy him tea or snack afterwards. I do have a bit of advantage because my daughter goes to school there, so I plan to take my son to go and pick up my daughter at least once this coming week. He has been there before, but it will refresh his memory.

renee，真奇怪．而家講起，我個仔係ICMS讀（已退學，間學校好唔掂），我識三個小朋友（連埋我個仔４個），個個都有esf interview．除左我地，其他都係qbs．我同esf講左,defer一年，唔洗再申請，到時去面試就得．如果阿仔係入ICA，我會比佢試一年，睇下學校點．呢個星期五，學校有家長會比我地班UK3家長，講解新學校情況．

I guess most kids will be from SWCK, so my son's possibility to get in will be slim.

icms = island children's montessori school -- purely money making scheme with NO curriculum. my son was in Best Concept for 2 years before going there. After being there for 2 months, 佢以前學左嘅野唔係唔記得就係大倒退, 真係嚇死我. 我知道係因為best concept影好多相, 我有相為證, 知道佢做左d物, 再睇返佢係icms退學返BC初期嘅相, 一d半年前做得好好嘅野, 竟然大倒退. 佢係ICMS讀個兩個幾月, 脾氣同discipline都越來越差, 當時我已懷疑係學校問題, 後來我同幾個家長傾開, 先知咁多. 大家都不能退學, 因為個個都等緊ESF interview. 當時我覺得, ESF面試唔係最重要, 最重要係我個仔發展, 所以唔理三十廿一, forfeit左兩個月學費 (好肉痛), 今日問菁一有冇位, 第二日就立即返去. now my son is doing great, except best concept is not a formal school. So it cannot provide a social environment as a regular school.

我估都係同ESF差唔多, 同小朋友傾幾句, 叫佢地畫下野, may be 寫自己個名, 睇下佢地互動如何咁.
