i didn't receive any call, but i just call the school and ask.
School said that they will call those waiting list within this month and will arrange one more interview for our kids.

My girl did not say anything at most of the interviews. If there is a 2nd in.....guess she has no chance

如果waiting再有得見, 可能好大機會收呢, 否則都唔會再叫你小朋友去見!
但只作參考用, 因萬一大吉利是唔收就成千古罪人!
另外, 去下都好比小朋友去玩下, 見識下囉! 再者認為無需要咪唔去囉, 因為你地唔去好多人會多謝你!

其實唔知寫求位信有冇用, 我朋友上年個女都係waiting list, 佢係一interview完寫咗一封, 出咗result再寫一封, 註冊完又再寫多封, 隔多幾日再親身攞埋最後一封去.
不過, 最尾都係唔收.

哈哈，我特登搵返舊年GH 2nd Interview 啲post 睇吓，舊年六月好似得十六／七個小朋友有2nd interview，好似係in 完就知收唔收架啦。嗰啲家長都有寫信俾學校咯。
我估寫信唔係冇用，不過似乎去年學校選邊批waiting list 出來2nd interview都有filter ...
大家隨緣啦！寫埋求位信都冇2nd interview 就可能真係同呢間學校無緣 ......

All mama, I just called the school this morning, they said the wait list call has been completed, so if we dont received call so far, no need to wait la. A bit disappointed, but still, I hope miricle will come if the above mama said there will be some more wait list 2nd-in call in June.

I have a friend who will have 2nd internview this Friday at GH. I think there are 2 stage of wait list call, this is stage is for quota who have not register on 10 Feb, next one is at June for payment who have registered on 10 Feb. However, nearly all schools has announced result, those parents should evalutate before register on 10 Feb, that mean, the seat left for June is not many, am i right ?

Last year, we were also on waiting list initially and received the call from school for 2nd interview in June. Luckily we passed the 2nd interview and got accepted on the same day. We wrote more than 10 letters to the school before and felt very thankful that we were successful finally! From my understand last year, around 30 candidates were called for 2nd interview but only most of them were accepted but not all of them. (If you were accepted, they will ask you to pay deposit in the school office located in waiting area, so everybody knows it)

學校話1st round accept 左D學生已全部有register, 一個放棄學位都冇, 所以冇offer 比D waiting list D後補生, 今日4:00左右打去架!!!

Last year, they called around 30 girls for 2nd interview in the 1st and 2nd week of June.
Upon my understanding, the school has rank their waiting list candidate. If you want to write a letter to the school, just go ahead, no harm! My friend wrote around 8 letter still cannot get a second interview!

一定唔係! 尋日帶大女去上堂, 個老師 (之前教我大女面試)話佢有2個學生尋日收到GH CALL, 2個都係星期三(即聽日) 2nd interview, 咁又點會所有人都去regist呢? 而且係其他thread有d mami話會放棄gh, 唔會去regist!!
我十分相信老師, 一定唔會點我! 而且佢話gh有個真的waiting list, 因為舊年有d 小朋友mami打去問, 個staff同佢講係waitlist排第5, 應該好大機會, 最後真係有call佢, 不過佢spk有offer所以直頭冇去in, 而d個mami我成日係學校見到佢, 佢親口同我講既! 我諗佢冇理由騙我!

Definitely this year has stronger competition! My friend who has 2nd interview has known principal, so we cannot compare. I did see some mammy said she gave up offer from GH in another post.

I think GH won't give offer like that. Otherwise your friend's daughter already got the offer after 1st interview and no need to wait for 2nd interview. Correct me if I'm wrong.

First of all, we have to accept there is no absolute fairness in this world. I think GH in general is quite fair, they are only offering second chance for those who have relationship but not an straight offer. I am okay with it.

I agreed. The whole situation is pretty weird.
Firstly, can't understand why the school staff told the different story.
Secondly,If those who got the connections why the school did not admit on the first shot & to be so obvious to arrange the 2nd interview for them now.
In addtion, I also think the candidates for 2nd interview (for this week given that It's true) are not that many why they need to seperate them to Wendesday & Friday ?
Anyhow, my gal is not the one to be called so I have to wait................till June to see if still having the chance

親疏有別，所以分兩日。
1st interview 唔收，可能小朋友表現太差或未表露身份，2nd interview 只是個程序，
那負責的老師自會明白。

其實再有冇機會有位或者有冇得in, 都係學校自行決定, 佢地冇必要對個個fair, 因為有咁多得揀! 而佢地今年會點做亦冇人知又唔會公佈, 大家都係估. 唉, 既然收到waiting list咁我都係等waiting!

They will ask you to paid the registration fee right after the 2nd interview - if you pass.

咪人講乜就信乜啦，真係有關係識人的話使乜 SECOND IN 呀，FRIST ROUND 都收左啦！
學校打去 RECONFIRM 係唔係唔去 REGISTER，只係因為學校唔想有人因為收唔到信而錯過註冊日期。呢間學校向來都係咁細心同貼心的。
仲有，相信有無 SECOND IN 同寫幾多封信去係無直接關係，佢地個 WAITING LIST應該已經有次序的。
SECOND IN 辛苦的唔單止係小朋友及家長，對負責 INTERVIEW 的老師同職員來說係額外的 WORKLOAD，佢地都一樣辛苦的。佢地安排 SECOND IN，相信係想給 FIRST IN 時稍稍落後的小朋友多一次公平的機會，而唔係想留難小朋友。

我都明白你的心情,希望你放鬆一點.
其實,GH 很有可能會在6月初之後CALL WAITING LIST,
因為GH會在6月初正式收書簿費,到時手握幾個OFFER的家長可能會有人放棄GH.
