想同個仔報starter, 但vocab個list都唔少嘢，唔叻串字點好？請指教。

個仔認字ok, 見到個字或圖識讀, 就係偏偏唔識串!!

拼音只係識少少, 唔係好肯記, 叫佢串字=攞我命!

其實只係verb同nouｎ要串上過百字，有ｄ咩方法易ｄ令佢記得好ｄ呢？？

其實有得捉路, 通常考串字一頁都同一個主題, 如運動/食物, 可以GROUP埋一組組串, 人名唔串, 聆聽時會讀出, 聽快D就OK(不過提醒人名地名開首要大階, , 反而D動詞轉ING FORM要小心串下, 例如swimming加 m, sitting 加t, writing 減e好容易會錯, 純粹過來人經驗分享

咁即係都要串字, 計落都多過200個生字，點解D 4 歳小朋友都考到滿分呢? 利害!!

You son has phonics background? If not, you need to help him to understand how to blend the words with the sound at home. i taught my students that way plus spelling. They learn fast and the poorest get 13 shields.

Try your best. Most parents will give up easily on this as their kids wont do spelling. You need keep revising for them as their memory is short term. Until they are okay.. then you can start doing th past papers.. Hope this is helpful. PLUS, you need to do story book readings as they should read more words to recognise them back in story books. Because, in the exam they need to read their own paper questions.

Starters 都要串字?
請問你們是否一夠5 歲就比小朋友考? 咁咪4 歲幾就要識串二百幾字來預備考試?
我見到有 D 人K2 就話考 movers 有15 盾! Movers 正常不是 P. 2 – P. 5 才開始讀嗎?
現在的起跑線實在提得太早了, 好恐怖!!

就算15盾都可以容許少少錯嘅。串字真係䛊phonics會容易啲。我之前教阿女串字，由短字開始，每星期幾個，用英文字母玩具反覆溫習（例如俾5個英文字母去切apple呢個字）。覺得佢掌握串字能力之後，先教佢串啲長啲嘅字，例如teacher=tea c her, computer 讀成come put ter, chocolate 分開讀做cho co late ，咁佢會覺得很有趣，五歲串200字不難。

the memory of small child can be beyond our imagination. sometimes they recognize and remember the whole word, not by each alphabet.

Yea，我都係用呢個方法教阿仔，每日都同佢玩spelling games，但是互動的，我讀他串，之後他讀我串，有時我還會扮唔識，由佢教番我，由短字到長字，不足1個月，便可見成績。

我個女今年9月考starter,自問阿女speaking,listening OK!,但我同學校從未教串字！我好好彩10月收到張cert有15 shields!我係考之前兩個星期先做past paper !初初做都好驚，唔識串字！但我都係聼其他EK 家長教路！將past paper set A-E要串的生字記低，發覺好多overlapped! group左20-30個生字(incl. swimming, running....)串下就甘去考！我個女都話有個字唔識串，但都可以15 shields!我個方法係幾冒險呀！但無時間練就唯有取巧！我都會再報mover,反而我覺得mover串字要求低d,但要有好好comprehension skills !
