They said they will announce the result in Feb. Wonder if anyone has already received the letter.

In the letter, they said result ready in Feb. But I heard my friend got the admission letter already.
Per my friend, the office said they sent out the first batch before CNY.
All letters will be sent in Feb.
I didn't receive yet. Wish good luck. It is my dream school for my boy.

They said not all sent out yet. But my friend asked before that they will send in accordance to interview result. Guess the high scored ones got their letters already like my lucky friend

I haven't received their letter either. However, I learned from my friends and BK that there are lots of homework starting from P.3 and that some students need to transfer to other schools in P.5 and 6. Is that true?
I know this is ironic. One the one hand, restless like ants on a frying pan and on the other hand worried that whether my kid could cope with the tremendous homework :)

Does your friend's kid speak both English and Mandarin very well? My girl only spoke English during the interview even though she can speak Mandarin very well since I can speak Mandarin very well. However, she is more confident with English. She told me she didn't answer the questions raised by a Mandarin teacher.

I also want to know if they have waitlist system or not.
Do they reserve up some seats for the later batch interview in March.

Even they asked our language preference, they still end up testing both English and Mandarin as per my kid.

Do any of you have backup plan like applying other international schools?

Does it mean that we have to wait until somebody gives up their spot?

I also think that they will only send out the 2nd batch offer until someone from the 1st batch turns down the offer. Otherwise, there is no reason why they need to send out the offer letters in different batch and the gap between the 1st round and the 2nd round is too long. It is obvious that they won't be able to send out the 2nd round offer letter until the 1st round registered.

However, I don't know if my thinking is right.

Feel very upset anyway as they keep us waiting too long.
I only apply this intl school. Look like I and my boy need to go back to the local school system which is even worst.

We applied quite a number of international schools this year for our boy, as we have all along decided to let our boy to proceed along the international school stream. Applying to only one international school these days is too risky. There are so many factors that may affect the interview results these days. Good luck to all.

Heard that most who got offers already received their letters. Those who absolutely failed had also received them. But there are more like us who are waiting for results.

But there are no one here saying they have received sis offer letter. Look at the RC topic, there are batches of reply saying they got offers from RC. The no. Of seats in both school are 100+, why no sis applicant told us here they got any letters? If someone got letters from sis, please share with us.

No, a friend who received a reject letter told me today. I didn't ask how she knew. Wonder anyone has called the Admission Office in recent days to check progress.

just able to contact the school. they said the result will be all out before end of Feb. if you havent received letter doesnt mean you got rejected. so still hope.....=>

Take it easy. There is no point chasing. Even if you can get hold of the Admission Officer, what she could advise may at most be they are / will be sending out the letters for the 2nd batch offer. Just keep checking the mailbox.
