請問有冇家長比小朋友讀過/緊Victoria嘅playgroup, 好嗎? 及兩小時會否太長時間？

我大囡同細囡都讀過維記playgroup，大囡收了pn，但是一樣要面試的。細囡原本tutor time playgroup , 維記playgroup在維記pn面試前一個月先有位，於是兩間一齊讀，但維記pn沒有收細囡，今年再考k1,則收了。

我大囡都讀過維記playgroup,
最後考唔到維記pn, 面試時是見playgroup老師.佢(PLAYGROUP老師)都好surprise 唔收. 同 class (8個) 都有3個唔收.
我有同大囡一齊上 . 都覺得唔係平又無咩野學.
更正: 係nursery 唔收. 都有考k1 ,又係唔收. 因有更好 offer,
沒有寫求位信

我都覺得vic的playgroup唔好...太貴..我之前encounter的外籍老師無mud愛心, 好hea...由d mama同小朋友玩, 自己呆坐..

I had join Vic PG 3 mths and then change to Tutor time PG because of more PTH at TT. Vic PTH 15mins per week is not enough. Also, the cantonese can speaking at home. They both had net teacher.

My baby goes to Vic pg three days a week for the past two months. He is now more outgoing and will smile and play with stranger. Before that, he was quite calm because he stayed with my maid whole day. Other changes: more concentrated at story telling, art work and play toys. I also appreciate the teachers' effort of arranging the Christmas performance and let my kid to perform on stage! I don't think other 1-hour normal pg can offer such opportunity. After the performance, my son has turned more confident in dancing in front of others. In fact, he dance all day at home now.
Also, he can sit down, finish his snack and return the dish my himself.
I think this is what a baby should learn at this stage. But if parents are looking for flash card type learn, Vic is not their cup of tea.
Ps: my home is very close to Vic, so traveling is not a problem

My son also attended Victoria Paygroup. 其實,真喺無特別嘢学到, 上面有提到学到的学校規舉, 我覺得在間間PG 也可学到. Free play 的時間 太多 and PTH 太少.
我自己教佢仲多嘢過学校. 所以讀了4个月就冇讀. 同d老師傾開, 佢話last year因太多以弟妹priority 取錄而剩下好少位俾其他考的小朋友, PG students 也沒有大優勢, 有几班1个小朋友也沒有取錄, 今年情况也一樣,所以叫我哋PG的家長以平常心對待結果.
所以, 還在等候Victoria PG 的家長, 不用失望. 以我个人的体會,咁小的小朋友, 可享受多一些童年, 因一入了K1, 你就開始一輩子忙錄讀書的生活.

我的小朋友現在讀緊，其實我覺得除開真係唔貴，而且佢哋的設計好有安排，例如今個星期是教動物住的地方，佢故事書，遊戲，手工，全都關於同一樣野，中文英文時段兩邊銜接，一路有連貫，不像其他一樣重複又重複，我覺得佢舖排真係可以令小朋友深刻印象。不過$3100一個月確實貴。我小朋友也取錄了K1,我覺得貴，但想想，只３年Ｋ，都是有限錢，所以都好大機會會讀。

我個囡番緊playgroup, 我果間好好喎。老師超好有愛心, 阿囡未去到門口已好興奮。上左就黎半年, 阿囡熟習晒d模式。我平日陪唔到佢, 所以番一日。我覺得如果認為佢地冇野學, 可能係維記既模式未必適合你地小朋友呀。咁講並無負面意思, 因為每個家長對學校要求都唔同, 有d鍾意傳統, 有d鍾意free style。我大囡番緊, 每日都有free time, 佢地自主揀佢地鍾意既活動, 你或會覺得好hea。佢地寫字唔多, 唔算多功課, 主張佢地自己做, 唔比家長擦。如果考佢地, 佢地一定唔夠出面較傳統既學校識野多, 但係番學好開心。所以睇下你想要咩。佢個pg唔平, 冇錯, 尤其多假期, 超貴! 如果唔係想要呢種學習模式, 不如留番$上興趣班, 況且上pg, 真係唔一定收架。

我個女都返緊，由1.5歲到而家2歲，差不多半年，由細仔班升至大仔班，上堂形式一樣係1小時廣東話+1小時英語，每個星期或每個月有一個主題，大仔班嘅老師明顯地比細仔班老師要求嚴格。
pg好唔好同有冇嘢學好睇家長要求，最起碼守規矩、禮貌、清潔等等一定學到，老師教嘅內容阿女未識講俾我知，不過歌仔和動作都識。顏色和形狀係free play和做手工時都有教。
每個月都會收到荼點表，通常有餅、麵包、粉、豆漿、果汁和水，同埋會自己帶水，麵包有寫明牌子。上個月有食過蘿蔔糕，係學校姑娘自己整。平日係婆婆帶返pg，所以會問下係整定買，基本上茶點好淡味。

我個女16.5月開始返上康,星期1,3,5, 我覺得比tutor time好(8-17月上), 1班得8個同學,無tt12個咁多. 同埋我個女返得好開心,可能返3日,之前tt返1日, 佢識多左好多野,具體學左d咩我講唔出,因為唔係我自己帶. 但佢11月開始返,12聖誕表演時已經可以跟d歌做晒動作,我覺得d老師教得好好!
我無諗過佢咁細個返pg會學到d咩,佢返得開心同鍾意返就ok.好過剩係係屋企對住個工人!

Of course adults may think the Chinese kid songs are low b but my girl enjoyed them very much. When I sing at home, she starts to dance immediately.
My girl is studing the class 1-3pm for age 1-2. And yours? Have you applied their pn? I applied and hope she can get in but have backup at Ming Wai.

my kid is also attending the PG at TT, the teachers we met all are very nice (as we have changed class, so we have met 4 different NET and 2 class teachers). all of them remember the kids' name even for the first lesson. for the teachers in the first class of my kid, they still remember my kid's name and would play with him in the corridor. actually i found that the receptionist is also kind and she would also play with the kids and called their names!!

英文老師 Miss Tina 和 中文陳老師非常好。坦白說，我小孩說話不太叻，但佢回家會不停哼Victoria 教的歌，在其他playgroup 不會

My kid studies in Kornhill playgroup. Today is the last day. In fact I do not want to give up the place in Victoria but some difficulties happened to my family so we need to suspend the PG study.
The PG in upper Kornhill centre in a very nice one. They had comprehensive programme design and different themes every week. Also, kids have class work to complete and teachers will take photos (will give u back stage by stage) for them (so you can have a good memory about your kid's developement). You will also get the kid's progress report. These are the things that other playgroups (I attended before) would NEVER do.

my kid is attending 8-12m pg at upper kornhill. it's surprisingly good! especially for the english which is led by miss jackie. she's prof! she knows kids and she leads the class very well
before you deciding to let your kids to have their curriculum you shd have known what they are promoting. they arent traditional schs which push students to achieve for sth, instead they encourage their students to bring out their own talent by themselves with the help from teachers/parents.

My girl also attended the PG at Upper Kornhill last year (she is now at Victoria PN). Good to see positive comments on Vic pg as most of the comments I found here about the pg are negative.
As I said before, both myself and my girl loved the pg a lot, and yes, our teacher is also Ms. Tina who is just fabulous!!! My girl could sing all the songs even up till now! The class structure is good as well, half cantonese, half english, have circle time, art and craft, singing/dancing time, activities time, tea time, etc. My daughter really learnt a lot from the 5 months she stayed there. Compared to tutortime, I would say Vic is a lot better ~ and yes, back then when we were at Tutortime, the teacher still couldn't remember my girl's name after almost a month ... that's not encouraging at all ...
so Victoria pg is not just for getting on to their PN class (and in any event, it does not have any guarantee). The pg itself does have its own value !!

English teacher not NET? Or they are not foreigners?? Both TT and Vic's English teachers are native speaker but they may not be foreigners. My son is now studying at Vic K1 and his English teacher is a CBC. But v good!!!

我冇上過 TT, 但比我感覺TT比 Vic 更 international, 因為全程冇用廣東話授課，如果冇打算比小朋友直上 TT k1 我就覺得唔洗比咁貴讀 Playgroup。我個女讀咗 Vic Playgroup 6個月，由一開始喊住入課室到而家好樂意同爹哋媽咪 bye bye 咁返學，睇得出佢讀得好開心。我响2-3個月開始排，15個月有得上。

講真，我讀緊好多pg, 最好的都是寶山playgroup, 叫 ITT (Infant Toddlers and Twos), Tutortime ok la, 維記真係唔好 (而家讀緊HH)。ITT可取代大部份playgroup, 有超過一半入了ITT都quit咗Tutortime 了，我都係。
