Anyone know is it too late to apply now, as my son will be in Year 1 this year if join them.
I hear that Shatin Junior is very full and even no chance for interview.

Please comment.

ESF schools stick to Central Application which is during the month of September. You can still submit your application, but will be probably be at the end of the waiting list, since it's very competitive this year.

Thanks, we already submit the application on Sat online, but the document we need to send to the SJS diectly as we already pass the deadline. So wait and see la...
Due to we not in HK and only just plan to back in Jun or July, so we left everything too late..

If you are moving from overseas, then is it a personal move or corporate move? If it's a corporate move, you can have the company buy the surety to secure a place for your child.

Thanks for your reply.
They company will not pay extra for that....
BTW, find out we make mistake, my son should be Y2 in 2012/2013. So, I think even less chance as ppl so hard to get in Y1 don't think they will leave at Y2..

Our case was similar to yours. We left Hong Kong for a few years and when we decided to come back to Hong Kong, we had left everything too late and passed the ESF application deadline. However, we got an interview in April and got accepted the same day. I still remember after the internview we went shopping and got a phone call from the school telling us the good news

. Does your child belong to Cat 1? If yes, then I think the situation is much better than those in Cat 2. Good luck.

if you really think move back to HK, still try to apply for it! You can send the documents by DHL to school. Your son should under Cat. 1! They may arrange an interview for you during April/May.
